DA Graveley Breaks Protocol To Release BLM Extremists Because He’s Terrified Of the Press: Leaked Documents

Kenosha District Attorney Michael Graveley (D)

We previously told you about three BLM extremists that were arrested on April 25, 2021 for blocking access to the Kenosha public safety building. They were warned several times that they would be arrested if they didn’t move. They didn’t move and the three were arrested. A self-proclaimed “pastor” Jonathan Barker, former Somers Trustee Joe Cardinali, and uncle of criminal Jacob Blake – Justin Blake were the three arrested. Barker and Cardinali were recommended to be charged with criminal disorderly conduct. Blake, however caught a second charge – obstructing an officer. He refused to identify himself in the jail. He didn’t have an ID and his fingerprints didn’t get a match. He was placed in a restraint chair for his own safety, as he refused to remove clothing that could be used to hang himself with.

Graveley Gets Involved

The next day, April 26, 2021, Graveley had a scheduled day off. He intervened and directed cops to release the three first thing that morning. This is, according to text messages and phone recordings leaked to the Kenosha County Eye. According to Graveley’s text messages, he texted his Deputy DA, Angelina “Angie” Gabriele just before 8am. He said “we should special [prosecute] anyone involved in this weekend[‘s] [B]lake protest. Maybe call Racine to see if they would take [it]” to which Gabriele responded “Trish (Racine County DA, Patricia Hanson) asked if we could try Zeke (Walworth County DA, Zeke Wiedenfeld) first because she thinks they are unlikely to travel to walworth to protest outside their office.”

Graveley told Gabriele that he wanted Blake released immediately. Gabriele told her boss “I don’t think we can do summons (and complaint).” She is correct. Since Blake didn’t ID himself, he couldn’t be released without being legally identified and posting Bond. This didn’t stop Graveley from calling the jail to demand just that. Assistant public defender Krystine Watson, apparently a friend of Graveley’s texted him at 7:30am to find out about Blake. They chatted back and forth.

At 9:18am Michael Graveley called the Sheriff’s department. His arrogant tone was apparent from the onset. He spoke to a Lieutenant, an 18-year veteran of the department. Graveley quickly tried to minimize the radical extremist’s behavior asking “What is his obstructing, did he physically fight with anybody or not? Nobody got hurt or anything?” He then continued to speak about how terrified he is of the media saying:

“He’s trying to generate national publicity, right? If he’s refusing to identify himself, he wants the networks, and all the national people to come back here and hang out at our courthouse again. My preference would be not to do that….I don’t want to have 50 national news people showing up here because of this stunt this guy’s pulling. Ya know, get us back in a situation where we have hundreds of people showing up here. It’s just not worth it for something this small.”

He then went on to bash the group that was arrested:

“This group is very discouraged, the size is getting smaller, and it’s not national publicity. My goal here, Lieutenant is to minimize any situation that will get us back in the national news -which is his desperate attempt here. Do you understand here? In my opinion, what he wants to do here, is he wants the biggest possible problem…..I don’t think we should require him to post bond. It is my belief that we should summons and complaint him….. I don’t think we should hold him and let him be a martyr for all this stuff.”

Blake ended up being released just a few minutes later. Is is likely that Walworth will take these three cases. We’ll update you when we hear if they’re charged or not. Zeke, who dismissed the Felony sexual assault charge against Jacob Blake, the man who got us into this mess, is expected to plead these three cases to tickets, meaning they won’t be criminal convictions.

Opinion

The embattled Kenosha DA Michael Graveley was a huge proponent and sympothiser of the radical BLM movement. Now that they are attacking HIM, he is pushing back… well a little bit. At the end of the day, he broke protocol to let Blake go home. Patricia Hanson in Racine didn’t have the political courage to take these three cases, and Graveley is abusing his authority because he’s afraid of the media. Prosecutors shouldn’t base their decisions on what CNN might say about it. Grow some ‘cohones’ and do the right things without consodering what the media will say. He doesn’t like free press or free speech. He doesn’t like transparency. This is because he is a nothing more than a punk that poisons our community with bad hombres. He is weak on crime and submits to the mob rule. He prosecutes folks, like Kyle Rittenhouse, even when charges are not proper and everyone agrees – he can’t win the case. That’s why he put two flunkies on it. Graveley’s last day in charge of his ultimate power will be a day to celebrate. Kenosha needs an ethical lawyer to step in and run.

  1. Wow! What a scoop. It is awesome that the KCE pubishes this. The other local media media will never publish this. I am so happy that we have the KCE in our city. KUDOS TO THE KCE1

  2. Graveley is guilty of misconduct and needs to go…. period. There is no room in our judicial system for Marxist sympathizers like Graveley. When it comes to racial issues as a public official, he needs to be fair and consistent regardless of race.
People, Please do your research…BLM is not what the name suggests.

  3. McLemore and rittenhouse both In court tomorrow and protests already planned. And the big case, fuller gets sentenced to hopefully life

  4. Wasn’t Billy Violent left completely alone, even though it was involved, too? I wonder if this is further evidence of its s**ual relationship with Gravely?
