KENOSHA, Wis. — A fast-moving fire tore through a home in the 6400 block of 35th Avenue on Friday afternoon, leaving the structure heavily damaged but sparing all human occupants. Firefighters also rescued three dogs from inside the burning house.
The Kenosha Fire Department said it was dispatched at about 12:18 p.m. after multiple callers reported a house on fire with a woman screaming inside. Arriving units found a two-story house with smoke and flames visible. Crews launched an aggressive interior attack while simultaneously searching the building.
All residents had escaped before firefighters entered, but three dogs remained trapped inside. Crews brought the animals out, and one of the dogs was found unconscious. Firefighters immediately began lifesaving interventions on the animal at the scene.
The blaze was declared under control by 12:35 p.m., but the home sustained extensive damage. No injuries to residents or firefighters were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fire officials thanked the Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha Joint Services for their assistance.

Two dogs were unconscious, one was brought back after life saving measures and was transported to the animal ER by a CSO. One dog succumbed to his injuries on scene and the family had the third dog safe with them.
this is not completely true one dog sadly passed away one has burns on her paws and the other is in the pet hospital with oxygen
How is not true, I was on scene. One dog passed, one was safe with the family across the street, and one was taken to the hospital by a KPD CSO. The one that went to the ER received oxygen by fire and police staff and came to before being transported. The third dog had minor injuries and was able to stay with the family. The dog that passed was a male dog that could not be resuscitated and was left with his family.
You just repeated what he said but more vaguely? How is what he said not true?
So sad, may that pooch rest in peace. Praying 🙏 for the family.
