KENOSHA, Wis. — A Kenosha man is accused of accidentally shooting his 4-year-old son while cleaning a handgun inside his apartment Tuesday afternoon, leaving the child with serious injuries that required emergency surgery and a helicopter flight to Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

I think they would have said in the police report if he had conviction(s) that made him ineligible. So he probably was legal but won’t be going forward.
Did they draw blood to see how much THC was in his system? I suspect there was and once it the blood draw results come back, there will be another charge…..

Kevin, can you please find out and update this story- Was there a boresnake, cleaning rod, bore brush, gun oil or solvent present in the apartment? The basic components of a “gun cleaning”. I’m guessing not.
