KENOSHA, Wis. — Questions are mounting surrounding the actions of cab driver and Kenosha Unified School District Board Vice President Sabrina Landry after information obtained by Kenosha County Eye indicates she allegedly witnessed troubling behavior from Dale R. Dallia before the killing of Stephanie Birn.
As previously reported by Kenosha County Eye, Dallia, 42, of Kenosha, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide and several additional felony offenses stemming from the April 25 attack at 5711 13th Avenue that left Stephanie R. Birn, 37, dead and another man seriously injured.
Information obtained by Kenosha County Eye indicates Landry picked Dallia up while he was allegedly intoxicated and drove him to Birn’s residence that day.
According to information obtained by Kenosha County Eye, after arriving at the home, Dallia allegedly began pounding on and ramming the door while yelling, “Open the fucking door, I am going to kill you.”
Kenosha County Eye reached out to Landry and asked why she did not call 911 after allegedly witnessing a visibly intoxicated man pounding on a door and making what appeared to be direct threats to kill someone. Kenosha County Eye also asked whether she believed contacting law enforcement could have changed the outcome, whether she bears any responsibility for not contacting police, and whether she wished to provide any context or explanation before publication.
Landry did not return requests for comment.
Kenosha County Eye also remains awaiting responses from Landry regarding separate questions concerning whether she believed it was appropriate or ethical to accept a complimentary meal for herself and her husband after reportedly being invited to a recent restaurant soft opening in her role as a school board official.
Reaction from at least one Kenosha County voter was blunt.
“I don’t understand how somebody hears a drunk person pounding on a door, ramming it and screaming that he’s going to kill somebody and just drives away,” a Kenosha County voter told Kenosha County Eye. “If the judgment is that bad in a situation where common sense says call 911, then I question the judgment being used on the school board too.”
No criminal wrongdoing by Landry has been alleged, and authorities have not accused her of involvement in Birn’s killing. However, questions remain regarding whether an earlier call to law enforcement could have changed the chain of events that followed.

Questions about Landry’s judgment are not entirely new. In 2024, Kenosha County Eye reported on controversy surrounding her husband, Troy Landry, whose criminal history included a sexual assault-related conviction arising from an incident in which he admitted masturbating over and ejaculating on a sleeping woman. Sabrina Landry faced scrutiny at the time over the relationship and surrounding issues.
Dallia remains in custody on a $2 million cash bond after prosecutors sought a $3 million cash bond and the surviving victim requested the highest bond possible during Dallia’s initial appearance. He is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing on May 12.

She’s a loser too. And weird. Another kusd employee.
May 12 was 14 days ago. Is his next hearing not until May 12, 2027? Dang that’s a long time for no action.
Next question are there witnesses that say the cab driver was present once those actions took place at the door? I’m guessing that maybe someone was finishing something with the recent fare and maybe wasn’t parked in a position to obviously see the actions you are reporting?
She doesn’t look like the type of person who does anything but the bare minimum in everything she does. Sits in a cab all day, Sits in meetings when needed.. but nothing nothing of value or extra in anything she does. I’m just surprised she doesn’t door dash too so she can steal fries from everybody’s order. Oh yeah that’s right she would have to get out of the car to put an order on a doorstep and that wold be too much work.
Do we need to ask why our schools”s are failing with people like her running the show?
