SALEM LAKES, Wis. — A 30-year-old Trevor man is facing four felony charges after authorities say he altered counterfeit movie prop money to make it look like legitimate currency and used it to pay for a massage at a Salem Lakes spa. Robert Paul Gillan allegedly admitted to purchasing the fake money on eBay and altering it so that he could use it to pay for a massage he could not afford. On Monday, October 19, 2026, Kenosha County Court Commissioner Daniel “Catch & Release” Kellum released Gillan on no-cash bail despite prosecutors filing seven criminal charges, including four felonies.

I agree with the signature bond. If it was cash, he’d probably use the movie money.
This does not warrant felony charges. With an understaffed DA’s office, charge the misdemeanors and move on.
I feel bad for whomever had to massage that, barf.
