Scott Larsen Mugshuts

In 2014, Larsen was driving drunk down the expressway the wrong way, according to Fox6. He almost hit an ambulance and a police car. He was only caught, when stopped on the side of the busy road to take a leak. He was charged with 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, OWI-1st, Driving Wrong Way on a Divided Highway, and a county ordinance Disorderly Conduct, for urinating in public.

Illinois State Trooper Christopher Lambert

On January 29, 2019, police and prosecutors say Larsen struck and killed 34-year-old Trooper Christopher Lambert. Lambert was an Army veteran and had a 1 year old child. Lambert was on his way home, according to patch.com when he encountered a multiple car accident. The Trooper exited his vehicle, and that’s when police say, he was struck and killed by Scott Larsen. Larsen is out on a $250,000 bail and has yet to stand trial.

Larsen donated $500 to Matoska-Mentink’s campaign committee. We asked Matoska if she knew what Larsen was convicted for and out on bond for. We also asked if she was going to return the $500. She didn’t answer our questions, but according to campaign finance records, she didn’t return the money.

Matoska, a long time democrat, doesn’t call what happened in Kenosha during August of 2020 “riots.” Instead she calls what happened “civil unrest.” Her challenger, three-time County Board Supervisor Zach Rodriguez, has been critical of Mentink’s handling of the Kenosha County System.

The election is November 8, 2022.

*Update. Although Matoska didn’t have the courage to respond to our request, she made a Facebook post calling us “Fake News” and “Gossip”. We asked her what was “fake news” or “gossip” about this article”. Of course, she didn’t respond. She didn’t think we were fake news or gossip when she answered our candidate questionnaire for her failed county exec bid. Perhaps this publication is only “fake news” when it shows her in a bad light?*

  1. Desperation from the Republican canal. Let’s talk about Zack’s record. Please publish his resume. Come on Kevin.

    1. Is this the real
Joe Clark wife beater with the druggie son arrested for soliciting prostitution? Of course you’d condone this stuff, the piece of shit that you are. Becky made a mistake getting involved with you.

    2. Funny you say that. Does hypocrites run in your family? I mean the left and their desperation is pathetic. Hence berg and his local hits during election time? Meanwhile fuck his own district. But keep going. Hypocrites like you are all over Kenosha

  2. Time for a chill pill. This is not a right vs. left nor should it be. Not a policy making position but more a ministerial one. If the douchebag Larsen gave her $50K it wouldn’t make squat.

The real issue in all of this: why is it three years and Larsen has not faced trial?

  3. Some solid reporting. Kernels of info come forward by pressing investigative questions. The fact she wouldn’t answer the simple question about returning the affiliated Larsen $500, indicates she may be confused about other sketchy donation dollars. Kind of like John “Zuckerbucks” Antaramian. I doubt he’ll ever come clean about that sketchy deal.

  4. So what exactly are Zach Rodriguez’s qualifications to take over and run a county courthouse? I don’t even know why this position has become the political one that it has. Can someone provide some info please?

    1. I suppose it is. Kenosha will be without a hospital and the left are typically screaming about womens healthcare, so why not give them what they want where they want. Let’s satisfy the voters demands.

      1. “Allendale is friendly neighborhood that is safe and well-kept. I can’t imagine living in or raising a family in another neighborhood in town. We are a short walk to Lake Michigan and the downtown area. There are always fun things to do to keep you busy all year round. ”
No doubt immigrants should consider relocating to Kenosha as it welcomes all those here legally and illegally with open arms!

  5. This entire website is far-right misinformation. Kevin Mathewson suggests that people have a right to self-defense, which is ridiculous. Kevin Mathewson thinks that it is wrong to show children drag shows. Kevin Mathewson thinks that cop killers are the bad guys. Who does Kevin Mathewson think he is?

  6. These clowns are in panic mode… If someone other than this swamp creature, the dirty little K-Town secrets get revealed. Panic mode… Desperation. Look at that loser Andy Berg’s Facebook page….. That clown is in panic mode…..

    1. Facts. He is such a hypocrite it’s disgusting. But that’s the way of the left. Notice he posts shit, allows others to question him and he sticks in the shadows and allows his other left hypocrites to fight his battles? He’s a fake

  7. I think The Real Joe Clark meant republican cabal, not canal.
Is there a Fake Joe Clark that comments on stories on this website?

  8. This is a perfect reason for having these important offices either nonpartisan or appointed on merit, not politics. Zach is a good guy but I’m not going to vote to remove a qualified person just because he’s a fellow Republican. He needs to earn my vote. He has done nothing to do that. If he was qualified for the job, yes. But he isn’t.

  9. What the Hell is wrong with some of you. These people are your neighbors, not enemies, and clerk of circuit court is not a right-vs-left office.

  10. I guess This is not about Right or Wrong, Reds or Blues. This is about running the Administrative part of our judiciary. She (D) knows how to handle it, He (R) doesn’t have that experience. I am Red, however not blinded, Zack doesn’t have the experience or the knowledge to run the courthouse. I think we should have someone better qualified to represent us, someone better qualified to assist our judiciary branch. Yes, I didn’t vote for Joe, I didn’t vote for this disgraceful individual they call Evers, and nevertheless will vote for this Mandela clown. I am voting for Zoerner, because he has the experience and all the Leadership skills needed for the job, but hey … we do need our courthouse open and working smoothly.
I don’t think Matoska is checking one by one the criminal records of those making donations.
Justice is not red or blue, Justice is blinded. It shouldn’t favor or pick any colors.
Mr. Mathewson, Thanks for your website, long waited for many of us.
