A man is in critical, but stable condition after being pulled from Lake Andrea late this afternoon. Just before 5:00 p.m. a young man went under water prompting a Pleasant Prairie Police, Fire and the Kenosha County Dive Team.
According to Sergeant Dutter of the Pleasant Prairie Police Department there was a medical call about a subject that went under the water. “He was in critical condition when we responded. We did CPR on him and we were able to get a pulse back. He was transported to the hospital. Right now he is in critical, but stable condition.”
KCE is told that the man seemed to be a “younger man” and he was pulled out of the water at the north end of the lake, not the swimming beach area.
The Pleasant Prairie Fire Department released the filing statement:
“At 4:44 PM today, the Pleasant Prairie Fire & Rescue Department received a report of a person in distress in Lake Andrea. At the time of the call, a Chief Officer and one of the Med units were at the new Station 3 delivering equipment. Both units immediately surveyed the area with the assistance of the Pleasant Prairie Police Department and located the victim along with a bystander who had initiated CPR. The crew started advanced life-saving measures which resulted in the subject regaining a pulse. Upon return of a pulse, the patient was transported to Froedtert Pleasant Prairie for continued care.”
This is a breaking story….

I pray he will be OK!
Praying for this young man 🙏🏻
I look forward to reading about this on Thursday in the Kenosha News.
It’s my understanding he was swimming out to a raft to fish. His backpack full of fishing gear possibility pulled him down.
