Kevin Taylor – Lead Pastor
(Website)

Although the Church/School said they are cooperating with the investigation, according to the criminal complaint, the lead pastor, Kevin Taylor isn’t cooperating and refused to give a statement. We are told that leadership is allegedly taking other actions to obstructing the investigation. The School/Church quickly scrubbed Mills from their website.

    1. The Church is part of the fallen world- we are ALL sinners. Some are better than others at staying on the narrow path. The pastor needs to repent and work VERY hard to guard his heart and care for his wife’s heart.

      1. Agreed. We all have fallen short and a pastor, although held to a higher standard, is no different in that regard. I pray, honestly, that he truly repents and that his family and marriage can be fully healed from this. As a side note, I’m curious about missing information that will be revealed as time goes on. He is obviously guilty of what he was accused of, but there are definitely missing pieces in the puzzle here. I pray full truth is revealed and justice is given.

  1. Kevin- what happened to the investigation you were doing into the allegations of sexual misconduct by staff towards students at Christian Life School (which is run by Journey Church). It was interesting. I’m hoping your personal friendship with one of the staff members in question isn’t what made you delete that investigation.

    1. When I was looking into Tim Pinter, I didn’t have this media platform. I was just a loudmouth with a Facebook account. I met with some people affected and did my best to try to steer them to the media and an attorney. One of the victims got a law passed and her name was used. She was a brave warrior. However, she told me go pound sand recently when I tried to contact her. She hates me becuase I’m a conservative. Oh well. I don’t, to my knowledge know anyone who works at the church. A law was signed, he doesn’t work there any more, and there was a good outcome. What else should I do?

      1. It’s interesting as well that Brian Thomas was the track coach there too. Brian. The adulterer with his first cousin. He was pretty handsy with the young students. Thanks for all you do Kevin!

            1. You must be one of those “good” churchy people
you all pretend to be so Holy and perfect but you’re all assholes and look down on everyone.

              Eat shit

              2

              1. Sounds like you are the one judging and looking “down on everyone “. Perhaps you should look un the mirror.

    1. Right?! I thought the same thing! I have 11,000+ photos on my phone, and it takes me an hour to find one specific photo!

      14
      1. Or if there was some previous conversation with the husband or spouse that makes this make more sense as to why he possibly knew to look for those images….

  2. Why would Bible trumping church members have intimate pictures on their phone anyway. I have known many people, over the years, who were members of that church. My co-workers referred to it as the Church of Adultery. There were so many members into swinging.

They were all sanctimonious hypocrites who were absolutely convinced they were going to heaven.

    1. I’ll pray for you to return to God.
As a member of the church I am grateful of the staff and my brothers and sister in Christ- so grateful for community.
As a sinner, and one married to a sinner, we came to Christ in our darkest hour and He walked with us out of it.

      19

  3. Nine years ago, I went to that church and I had issues with the youth pastor. I reported the issue and nothing was done.

    8
    1
    1. No. He’s a Jew. Judeo Christianity is a farce too btw pushed by rabbis and 501c3 pastors to fool you into thinking these devils are Gods chosen.

      2
      1
  4. Gable Mills employment at Journey Church was immediately terminated. And just because leadership is not filling the press in on every detail doesn’t mean they are trying to obstruct the investigation. Journey is a solid fellowship of believers with great leadership. One bad apple doesn’t change this. We will weather this storm and do what we can to help the victims and grow stronger in Christ.

    29
    5
    1. This church is extremely racist and if you don’t have a large amount of money they will look at you as an outsider. I don’t know what church you are talking about but journey definitely isn’t a good church.

      8
      15
    2. Actually the official report was released by the Kenosha County DA and it states that the lead Pastor Kevin Taylor did indeed cover up the incident after he was informed, and he also failed to report the incident and also refused to give the Detective a statement. He is also thought to have provided legal counsel to the accused pastor provided by Journey Church. I understand you want everything to be okay, but don’t stick your head in the sand. This isn’t the first time this has happened at Journey Church and their school Christian Life School.

It is a pattern of abuse and cover ups.

      23
      4
      1. After reading the investigation transcript, there was no covering up on Pastor Kevin’s behalf. Not speaking on advice of counsel is much different than “covering things up”. I applaud the Church for terminating him immediately and hope Gabe stays on as a member of the church as he clearly needs Christ now more than ever. He has a wonderful family and I pray they can weather this storm- and they can with God.

        12
        2
          1. Journey church will ask them to leave so the other family can “heal” That’s what they do, they shun and push out one and support the other.

        1. Search for the Kenosha County District Attorney on Facebook. They uploaded the documents. They are horrifying! I hope Kevin posts them here!

  5. Guest experience pastor! This so called church is a racket. I’d rather be listening to Jimmy Swagert sermon while he’s at the motel 6 with the prostitute.

    7
    4
    1. Reading the Bible is a start, you don’t have to attend but you should stay on the narrow road. I’ll pray for you.

      7
      2
  6. Govt itself consists of HAVES and HAVE NOTS.

GOVT OF THE CHURCH, any church, is the save. Full of do as I say, not as I do.

There is no need of a church to believe in Christ. TAKE A WALK. APPRECIATE ALL YOU SEE, HEAR, FEEL.LOVE IT. Without these pretend leaders and followers

    1
    2
    1. There is more to being a follower than “appreciating”. It’s hard, it can be messy, you fall down and God walks you through it. You can only get so far by meandering around and “appreciating” things. You’ll just be lukewarm.

      7
      1
  7. Not another “Hillsong” church like scandal. I know for a while this publication has had many articles were written about our piss poor foster care system in Kenosha. How many people at Journey are foster cough parents in Kenosha. It’s seem to be very profitable and for the most part creepy!

    7
    4
  8. Church leaders spread the word of GOD, while leaders like Gabe Mills like to play GOD. I pray for his family and hope Gabe never serves at any other church, especially with youths.

  9. Well from my experience with people who go there. The place seems more like a cult, than a church. They think they are forgiven for their past actions and are better than others because they go there. Many are former Catholics. I for one have a strong belief in God and don’t need a cult like that to make me closer to God and Jesus.

    3
    2
      1. You are the type of person who will have a difficult time getting into heaven. This commenter speaks the truth. I believe Hod despises the type of people who are members of that despicable church.

  10. Serah is wonderful but I have always had thoughts about Gabe. She deserves better. Their kids deserve better.

No surprise if Journey makes excuses. I know of many who experienced church hurt directly because of the leaders at that church.

    5
    1
  11. The entire situation is a mess. I have to ask with computers and cell phones being hacked everyday why would anyone have suggestive pictures of your wife or anyone on either of these cell phone/computer? I believe there is guilt for both men that were involved. Journey Church is a wonderful Church and the the lead Pastor is wonderful And Journey helps so many people both here and around the world.

    1. Journey Church is not wonderful. The leaders as a whole are ones that put on a big show. People shamed because of sins, instead of welcomed. Judged because of divorce. If you are in their tight knitted group and make one mistake.. you are no longer welcomed. I know this from experience. I made mistakes and they were pointed out and I was shamed out of the church. Other people involved were surrounded with love and support, but not me. All these decisions without so much of a word from PK to me. There’s a lot of hidden things out there, I’m sorry you are naïve.

      2
      2
      1. I’m sorry you expect perfection from fallen people- you should no that we all fall short of the glory of God. By taking the time to bash the church shows you are not yet saved. I pray you find a church and meet God.

        1
        1
    2. I was thinking. If this were back in the day, and some peeping Tom was looking in a window, they would of course get arrested & everyone would be having a sigh of relief the perv got off the street. This is def modern day peeping Tom stuff. What makes it worse in this case is a man who claims to be representing Jesus. Oh God, what have “we,” become? Of course if the trial shows him guilty jail is where he belongs. Jail house true repentance is good.

  12. Heard Gabe Mills got a job with “SoPro Real Estate” directly from one of the owners (Don Taylor) who GROOMED a 19 year old year into having an affair with her. Journey Church decided to shame her from not returning to the church so husband and wife could heal. Even allowed a video of the husband and wife on stage about how God saved their marriage but what about that young girl? No one cared for her.

What about the pastors that cheat on their own wives? Pastor Kevin wants to say he cares about accountability but he doesn’t. It’s whatever is beneficial to Journey, not the actual people.

    6
    1
    1. You sound ill informed, you’re welcome to actually attend the church and you’ll be welcomed in with open arms. We’d love to have you and help get you on the narrow path to Christ- the one true savior. Don’t put your hope in people as they will all fall short.

      1
      2
      1. Oh, I am not ill informed as I attended the church for years. As nice as your offer may seem, I’d go to hell before ever stepping foot into that church (CULT) again.

  13. Who just gives their unlocked phone to somebody? I mean if their phone is dead and they need to make a call, but seriously you wouldn’t notice someone scrolling through your screen opening a gallery, then texting or emailing images? Hey, also, stop taking nasty ass pictures of yourself. It’s stupid and no good is going to come of it.

  14. Word is that Kevin gave quite a sermon this past Sunday….so emotional and hearfelt. We may wonder if that was a diversion or trying to take heat off Journey being in the press.

    1. Unless you actually attended, you didn’t see all of it (and you know that). Good effort at trolling though- keep it up. 😉

  15. Does anyone know if Gabriel Mills had his court date on October 25th?I had read in previous articles that his court date was the 25th.I didn’t see anything about it anywhere.
If anyone may know what happened please inform us.Thanks.

    1. Criminal cases move very slow and most court dates don’t give us much information. What will happen now if you will either take a plea or go to trial and we may not know that for a very long time.
