At about 7:41 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2024, Kenosha Police were summoned to the 3600 block of 40th street to what was reported to be a car crash with injuries. Upon arrival, Kenosha Police officers suspected Oster, a motorist involved in the crash, to be intoxicated. She was allegedly found with open intoxicants in her car and her 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter in the vehicle.

Kenosha Police found probable cause to arrest Oster-Scholtz and referred charges of Operating While Intoxicated With Passenger Less Than 16 Years Old, Keeping Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle, and inattentive driving.

The Kenosha County District Attorney’s office is expected to charge Oster Schultz in the coming weeks. An OWI 1st is usually non-criminal, but since there were minors in the vehicle, she faces a misdemeanor crime that faces up to six months in jail, an 18 month driver license revocation, an ignition interlock device for two years, and a fine of up to $1,535.

Since Kenosha Police did not recommend a charge relating to any injuries, it is believed that there were no injuries sustained.

Oster has not yet been charged with a crime and is presumed innocent.

        1. Neither one always requires the other.

You can be arrested and released.
You can be charged and turn yourself in.
An arrest is not always necessary.

  3. Obviously she has a problem of addiction. I’ve known many people that have the same problem that are professionals. They’re very good professionals. Including lawyers and doctors that have had addiction problems. They need help just like the rest of us. I hope she gets help.

  4. I normally trash people like this on here but she is a good person and comes from a good family.

People fuck up and make mistakes sometimes….I’m pretty sure she accept the consequences and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

  5. I just want to mention the fact that she also damaged two parked cars including mine!!!! I had just gotten the car not even a year ago as my first car that I worked and saved up for, I am an 18 yr old full time student and work part time and still have no idea if my car is fixable yet as it cannot even be driven and I have been given no insurance information at all.

Still glad God kept her and her children safe just think it’s crazy this mentions nothing about the two other cars affected by this.

    1. I’m sorry about what happened to your vehicle. If you want to call me, I’d be happy to speak with you about more details. Unfortunately, since she has not been charged yet, the police reports are not available

  6. She is my figure skating coach and is a very responsible person so It’s hard to see as I don’t see her as someone doing this. She has always put her kids first so them being in the back terrifies me. Glad everyone is okay and I hope she can come back from this horrible situation she put herself in! – Love you megan!
