KENOSHA, Wis. – A Kenosha man with a violent criminal history is facing new felony charges after allegedly choking and striking a pregnant woman earlier this month during a domestic altercation.
Terrance Darnell Love, 35, who also goes by the nicknames “Crazy Love” and “Lemon Love,” is charged with strangulation and suffocation, battery, and disorderly conduct — all as acts of domestic abuse. The charges are further elevated with domestic abuse repeater and general repeater enhancers, due to Love’s recent convictions for similar conduct.

Police were called to the upper unit of a duplex in the 3800 block of 29th Avenue on May 6, where they found the victim distraught. According to a criminal complaint filed Monday, the woman said Love had slapped her face, pushed her against a wall, and choked her with both hands during an argument. She later told a detective the strangulation lasted about a minute. She reported being afraid to come forward, fearing Love would retaliate.
The victim, who has a child in common with Love and is currently pregnant, said the dispute began over money and escalated when Love started removing property from the home — including a child’s television.
Love fled before officers arrived but was later taken into custody.
Court records show Love was convicted in January 2025 in two separate cases — one for battery and disorderly conduct as acts of domestic abuse (2023CF001140), and another for felony possession with intent to deliver THC (2023CF000127). Both cases remain on his record and support the repeater penalty enhancements.
Love is scheduled for a bond hearing at 1 p.m. Monday. However, due to his active felony probation status and a Department of Corrections hold, he is not expected to be released.
If convicted of all current charges and enhancements, Love faces well over a decade in prison.

Keep it coming please! I like it.
Yup trying to mimic a person’s speech pattern really doesn’t get old. Do you also say “Arriba! Ándale! Ándale! Epa! Epa! Epa! Yeehaw!” for Hispanics? Doubt you’ll ever mutter ” Jesus Christ sis, just come back to bed and let me finish!” That last one sounds pretty Caucasian to me.
