PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — George H. Easton, a retired municipal judge from Pleasant Prairie, was permitted to plead guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct earlier this month as part of a plea agreement stemming from a prostitution investigation that named several prominent men in southeastern Wisconsin.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office reached the deal with Easton on May 12, allowing him to avoid a prostitution-related conviction. In exchange for the guilty pleas to two misdemeanors, Judge Michelle Havas imposed a fine of $500 per count, totaling $1,000.
Easton, 77, was initially charged on November 25, 2024, with a single count of pandering—solicitation of a prostitute—a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to nine months in jail and a $10,000 fine.
According to criminal complaints, Easton was one of several men identified during a lengthy human trafficking investigation focused on a Milwaukee apartment used as a commercial sex parlor. Law enforcement described a so-called “play room” filled with sex toys and massage tables, and detailed how the operation was advertised on websites including Skip the Games and Erotic Monkey.
A cooperating witness, a woman referred to by her initials in court records, told police she engaged in sex acts with Easton at least six times between 2020 and 2023. She stated that Easton paid her in cash—typically $300 per session—and invited her to his home in Pleasant Prairie when his wife was out of town. The woman described elaborate BDSM encounters, including Easton’s desire to be spanked until he bled and to roleplay as a “naughty boy” named “Georgy.”
During a recorded interview with law enforcement in September 2024, Easton admitted to paying the woman for sex and confirmed meeting her multiple times between 2021 and 2022. The case was prosecuted by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, which also pursued similar charges against five other men, including a Milwaukee firefighter, an attorney, and a funeral director.
Despite the disturbing and graphic details outlined in the complaint, Easton received no jail time and will not carry a conviction for solicitation. The case was resolved without any statement from Easton in open court, and public records show he remains retired from public office.
The woman at the center of the operation was also charged for keeping a place of prostitution but was later identified as a trafficking victim. Her attorney argued at sentencing that she was coerced and exploited during the time she was operating the sex business.
The lenient resolution of Easton’s case—especially given his former role as a judge—raises questions about how justice is applied when former officials face criminal allegations.
