KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. — A Colorado man appeared in a Kenosha County courtroom Monday to face serious felony charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a minor during the 2017 Country Thunder music festival in the Town of Randall.
Ronnie O. Crews, 57, of Parker, Colorado, is charged with second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16, child enticement, and another sexual assault-related charge. The accusations stem from an incident that allegedly took place inside a recreational vehicle on July 23, 2017, during the final night of the festival.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim was 15 years old at the time and had consumed alcohol to the point of intoxication. The complaint states that after the victim became ill, Crews physically assaulted them, placed them in the RV’s bathroom, and removed their clothing. Investigators allege that while the victim was in the shower, Crews engaged in inappropriate and prolonged physical contact under the guise of helping them clean up.
The complaint further states that Crews remained alone with the victim in the bathroom and later moved them to a fold-out bed, where more contact allegedly occurred. The victim reported waking up the next morning in pain, with signs of injury, and recalled being given an unidentified white pill, possibly resembling a morning-after pill.
The report also includes statements from others who were present at the festival, along with details that authorities say are consistent with the victim’s account. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office opened the case after receiving a delayed report from the victim, now an adult.
A $100,000 arrest warrant was issued for Crews on June 17, 2025. He was arrested and appeared in court Monday, where Court Commissioner William Michel II ordered a $50,000 cash bond.
If convicted on all three felony counts, Crews faces more than 65 years in prison. He is scheduled to return to court on August 1 for a preliminary hearing.

12 gage to the face
He’ll get his issue eventually.
First one shot in the balls, so he gets a taste of the same pain he inflicted.
More than one victim? pronouns?
Yes, I’m not sure about the usage of the word, “them” in the story. Does them mean mentally ill or more than one victim?
If it’s a pronoun freak, then I call bullshit on the whole story.
I’m doing the decent thing and not using the victim’s identifying information, including gender. I don’t use fake pronouns, as you should know.
I find it respectful for the victim. Good job. The gender
Makes no difference.
