WHEATLAND, Wis. — A 34-year-old Kenosha man appeared in court Wednesday on accusations that he tased and slapped a 17-year-old at a graduation party in the Town of Wheatland, allegedly using a stun gun while intoxicated and then threatening violence when confronted.
Jeffery W. Grundman faces three charges: physical abuse of a child with intent to cause bodily harm, possession of an electric weapon, and disorderly conduct—all as a repeater. The most serious charges, both Class H felonies, each carry a maximum of six years in prison, plus additional time due to his prior felony conviction.
Court Commissioner William Michel II set cash bail at $1,500. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 11.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a home on Geneva Road on Sunday night after the teen, identified in the complaint as LJU, told his mother he had been assaulted. The teen alleged that a 10-year-old child at the party was repeatedly zapping him with a small purple taser. When he told the child to stop, Grundman allegedly intervened, telling the teen, “Who’s kid do you think you’re talking to like that?”
Later in the evening, Grundman reportedly encouraged others to use the taser on the teen and eventually took it himself, taunting LJU with it before tasing him in the chest. The teen said he told Grundman to stop and reminded him that he was a minor. Grundman allegedly responded, “I’ll beat the fuck out of you,” and slapped the teen across the face.
Deputies reported visible injuries on the teen’s body, including taser marks on his chest and red marks consistent with a slap across his cheek and neck. A friend who witnessed the incident corroborated the allegations and stated that Grundman’s wife also threatened the teen and temporarily took his phone to prevent him from calling for help.
Grundman denied tasing or slapping the teen, though he admitted to holding the taser and being intoxicated during the party. He also acknowledged the confrontation became heated.
Grundman’s prior conviction, from September 2023, involved child neglect and also carried a repeater enhancement. Prosecutors cited that case in seeking additional penalties if he is convicted again.

Wow. He must feel like a real big man picking on a 17 year old. Id call it small penis syndrome.
The exact definition of a democrat male: “White men for Kamala…”
Projection
The guy looks like a law and order MAGA
Strict punishments to make America great again I assume?
Ope. This is exactly why you should always make your kids take responsibility and accountability for their NUMEROUS fuck ups instead of spending years constantly making excuses for them. 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you Kevin
This abuser needs help. He is a repeat offender. He hasn’t learned his lesson. Why is he allowing his son to use a tazer on someone. He is teaching him to be an abuser just like him.
What a loser. And who’s the loser crying because this story is made public
A lot of teens need to be slapped nowadays.
Yes they do!
Who the heck wrote that kids need to be slapped these days???? Maybe it might be nice to be able to properly discipline kids these days and we wouldn’t have all this crap going on BUT why would a child who is being taunted with a weapon need to also be slapped? Real winner here. When will people see this person doesn’t even deserve to have a right to be in the presence of his own kid – like the comment was made earlier he’s teaching his kid to be an abuser! A bully.
