On September 11th, 2024 around 12:06 pm, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department was requested by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office to assist in locating an armed suicidal male along the Wisconsin and Illinois state line along the Fox River Road. Due to this location being near Wilmot Union High School, Kenosha County Sheriff David W. Zoerner worked with the School Resource Officer at Wilmot Union High School and the School Administration to do everything possible to keep our students and children safe. This resulted in Wilmot Union High School entering a secure hold for approximately 45 minutes until the armed male was located. No students were ever in danger or at risk of being in danger. The secure hold was a safety precaution to ensure everyone’s safety.

  1. Thank God our sheriff feels this way about the communities children. Wouldn’t it be great if the Kenosha county’s DA and assistant DA’s felt the same way. Watch out for this dude, Carl, running for DA.

Thank goodness you let us know who you are referring to, as if hitting “reply” to their comment doesn’t already tell us.

        1. It’s literally in the article. There are only eleven sentences. ELEVEN. And three paragraphs. Yet for some reason, you couldn’t take the time to read anything besides the comments.

“The male in question was located in Illinois and did not make it across the state line into Wisconsin.”

    1. Jr is in jail only at night. Gets the freedom to run his business all day long and go wherever his business will allow him to, even home if he needs to, and has to be back in jail to spend the night and then he’s out all day the next morning. Just like living dream. Eventually, I imagine he will ask for full time electric monitoring and just live a regular normalize from home. I hope Zorner doesnt grant him that right. People should contact Zorner and.tell him that.
He has made a mockery of our judicial system and laughs in the faces of the judges and anyone else who is involved with the court system.
