Kenosha City Council President David Bogdala (R)

After seeing 15 homicides in 2021, a 300% increase from the previous 12 years, we at KCE repeatedly asked the mayor for his gameplan to address the unprecedented spike in murders. He never responded, other than once to blame covid-19 and guns. We also reached out to the President of the Kenosha City Council, David Bogdala (R), but he also declined to show any sense of urgency, or even respond to our multiple inquiries. He has been keeping the City residents updated on the status of the ice rink, however. Bogdala and the rest of the City Council support the mayor’s agenda more than 95% of the time, including multiple public housing projects. We heard from only two Aldermen, Dave Paff and Rocco Lamacchia who seemed to be concerned enough to explore options to combat the murders. KCE doesn’t believe the City government has a plan.

KENOSHA, Wis. – Brittany R. Mika, 31, has a criminal history that reads like a courtroom merry-go-round—except there’s nothing amusing about the danger she poses or the disgraceful leniency she has received under the former Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley. With about two dozen criminal cases and citations to her name, Mika has racked up a staggering list of offenses: violent outbursts, hate speech, resisting arrest, property destruction, illegal firearms possession, and serial violations of

  1. Shocking. Another democrat in the headlines for a failed system. When will kenosha wake up? 300% increase in murders, corrupt alderman and supervisors. How many has KCE exposed? A lot, and all democrats. Bogdala just Copy and pastes articles to his Facebook to seem like he’s the one spreading the knowledge. KCE has exposed so many people in leadership positions! Wake up kenosha!!

  2. Perhaps my wife and I who are in our 60’s are reaching the point of moving to a red state. One which doesn’t attempt to prosecute you for defending you life and charge you for murder.

One in which a City Council President has more interests in its citizens than some stupid ice rink half the size of a city lot in Kenosha.

A Mayor who watched his city burn and feel no responsibility for doing so. Probably to busy pocketing kick backs on buildings and fire stations no one needs. He sure could care less about the inner city streets where Kenosha County And Racine have great streets compared to ours.

A City Council who isn’t crooked as hell. Would people be surprised to know that one if not more City Council members adult children don’t pay City taxes on their homes?

Most internal crimes get swept under the rug so to speak. How about the dead weight is tax payers pay for? Last couple of years I watched several times City workers mow the same section of grass until lunch. A section the size of your average City yard on a riding mower. Stopped for lunch, then finished their day mowing the same section again. Two guys in a golf cart, one driving while the other on used a grabber to pick up soda cans.

How about the nepotism the Mayor created employing I believe three of his relatives with City jobs. Others have done it too. However, the City Application for any job in Kenosha expresses that no relatives can work for the City of Kenosha in order to apply.

Tax payers wake up! You’re being robbed in this sanctuary city. Find a nice warm “red” state to retire before you end up murdered or put in prison for murder defending your family by the outstanding DA’s office.

    1. I completely agree with everything “Liberal City” wrote and am also contemplating a move to Texas in our 60’s. not only is the city government corrupt, it’s become a liberal shit hole.

Liberal City hit the nail on the head. only thing he left out was Michael Bells murder, cover up and the cop who couldn’t live with his conscience from the Bell murder and committed suicide. all covered up IMHO.

The Mayor is to greedy to resign though he knows he should. What does that tell you?

  3. I can’t remember an article that actually has the guts to name the race of the perps involved.
That’s why I stopped getting the Kenosha News.
Liberal cowards run that rag. It is really a shame what crooked Democrats have done to this city and it’s residents. The mayor is an embarrassment.
