Two Men Arrested And Charged For Fentanyl, Marijuana, And Gun After High-Speed Chase

Copied!

A Chicago man and a Racine man are both holding on $50,000 bail after being arrested yesterday. The two lead police on a high-speed chase and were found with an illegal gun, 64 grams of fentanyl and 28 grams of marijuana. If the fentanyl is 100% pure, it could kill about 1/5 of the population of Kenosha County, or 32,000 people.

According to the criminal complaint, Kenosha K9 Deputy Booth was observing traffic Thursday afternoon about 2:50pm when he observed a white sedan operated by 36-year-old Craig Highman, traveling northbound slowly and weaving in and out of its lane. The vehicle refused to stop and Deputy Booth called out a pursuit approaching 70 mile per hour with his lights and sirens activated. The car turned east-bound on highway 158 and approached speeds of 85 miles per hour. The Deputy saw the passenger, 48-year-old Bruce Adams, throw a black handgun out of the window and land in the ditch line. As the vehicle was forced to stop at Green Bay Rd., Adams bailed out and ran northbound. He would later enter a home though a back door. Highman continued past Green Bay Rd. and pulled into a parking lot of a business where he stopped his car and surrendered while being held at gunpoint by Deputy Booth. Highland was arrested without incident. Deputy Booth then got his partner K9-Riv out of the car and began tracking Adams. Eventually, Adams entered the rear of a home and hid under a blanket. Deputy Booth then arrested Adams.

Assistant District attorney Drew Lehman appeared in court today for the State of Wisconsin. He didn’t mince words when describing the defendants’ alleged actions. Highman appeared first and Lehman asked for a $50,000 cash bond saying, “This behavior I think is inherently a flight risk, certainly fleeing or eluding demonstrates to me that the defendant is willing to put others at risk to get away from [police]. Further, the defendant’s felon buddy was hanging out with a gun, too. Not only is this a fentanyl case of a prolific amount of fentanyl, but it’s a fleeing case, it’s a gun case, and it’s an incredibly deadly drug.”

“I’m aware theses are allegations, they’re very very serious allegations,” said Kenosha County Circuit Court Commissioner Loren Keating. With that, Keating set Highman’s bail at $50,000 cash.

When Adams sat at the Defendant’s table for his turn, Lehman asked for a higher bond of $75,000 saying, “The defendant has a long history of drug dealing.” Lehman called Adams a “career criminal” and said he fled the scene before. “The defendant was seen throwing a loaded gun out of the window during a high-speed chase…on the side of the road where anyone could find. He’s a felon and not supposed to have a gun…. He entered an innocent person’s home. I think that speaks to the obscene level of a flight risk…..And further, when he was caught, he didn’t turn himself in, he hid under a blanket. He’s just a rank coward that will flee at the first ability.” Commissioner Keating agreed and set Adams’ bond at $50,000 cash as well.

Adams faces 83 years in the Wisconsin Prison System if convicted of all counts, and his alleged partner in crime, Craig Highman faces 71.25 yers.

Both men are due back in court on November 23, 2022 for a preliminary hearing.

  1. Keating once again shows he is a scumbag. Any bail, of any kind, is just all kinds of wrong. I know Keating is a monster who protects his friends at all cost, but even someone as rotten as him must realize there is a LOT of money in drugs and drug trafficking. Fifty grand in cash is chicken feed to them. Dirty, ill gotten chicken feed, but still. The guys are flight risks with access to money.

    1. Dude, be serious. These are low level/broke/POS dealers who more than likely spend every dollar they make getting high. Those drugs they were caught with have a street value of $15k. Trust me, they aren’t posting $50k cash.

  2. Don’t buy into the fentanyl hysteria.
Cops now test what is obviously cocaine for fentanyl and unfortunately it tests positive 90% of the time.
The penalties for fentanyl are harsher so that is why they do it.
The pure fentanyl is shipped from Red China to somewhere South of the border and the cartels sprinkle it into everything to pad their profits at the expense of American lives.
Scott Adams has it right, drone the cartels until they get out of the fentanyl business. Mexican government is complicit, so fuck their protests.
Always test anything not bought from Walgreens for fentanyl. Otherwise you are playint Chinese roulette!

  3. The fentanyl these strokes had is probably safer than the mRNA death jabs brought to you by the NWO and their salesman Donny Trump.

Wish law enforcement could go as hard on corporate cartels as they are on these degenerates.

Which has killed more: fentanyl or mRNA vaccines?

      1. Clown – Biden is not my boy, sorry to disappoint you. Was a Trump fan until he took part in one of the greatest scams ever had on the world while selling and bragging how he got the jab green lighted faster than anybody ever could and saved millions and millions. (Remember this had a 99.98% survival rate.) Wipe that Trump jizz off your mouth and wake the fuck up.
