Mark Jensen today had his 12th day of his re-trial for the alleged anti-freeze murder of his wife, Julie. Today, the defense called Dr. Paul DeFazio to the stand. Dr. DeFazio testified about giving therapy to Julie Jensen in the early 1990’s. He said she was depressed and he suggested to a psychiatrist in his office prescribe Julie with Prozac. He did. He recounted that she cried a lot and didn’t like being a house-wife. On cross examination, Jambois frequently yelled and belittled Dr. DeFazio.

Video from the first trial of Lt. Mark Hunter of the Pleasant Prairie Police Department was played by the defense for the jury. He was a Sergeant at the time of the death. Lt. Hunter testified about how he investigated the pornographic photos around the house and the harassing phone calls. He said the Julie thought it was the work of her former lover, Perry Tarica. Hunter called Tarica to tell him that he wasn’t being suspected of the behavior, but if he was, he should stop it. Tarica got defensive with Hunter and yelled on the phone. Two days after this call, Tarica would mail Julie a Christmas card and note. This made Hunter upset, who got permission from his wife to mail Tarica a citation for harassment. Tarica would never pay the citation, but a warrant would be issued for his arrest. Then-DA Jambois would later have the warrant canceled.

Dr. Richard Borman, MD, was the Jensen Family Dr. He took the stand after lunch. Borman became a medical doctor in 1992. He was board certified and retired since 2010. He testified that the Jensens’ son David had a cough/tick that he couldn’t diagnose. He also testified that Julie was depressed in the past and taken Prozac. He testified that later, she was miserable, depressed, had no appetite and diarrhea. Julie also told her Dr. that she had an affair and Mark couldn’t forgive her for that. She denied any domestic violence. She was distraught and in tears.

Sounds not guilty to me.
These prosecutor’s will not let up….fabricating a chain of events that’s untrue and will lie to your face ….with a smile on there’s.
Absolutely! This prosecutor comes across as a bully and appears to have a personal vendetta against the accused. He has testified his theory as fact throughout the trial and anyone who disagrees is deluged by him repeating over and over until they are so confused they don’t know what they were asked. Twenty years ago you would not have wanted him to be filing charges against you as his old school ways would have you locked away guilty or innocent.
Jensen has certainly aged better than Jambois….karma is a bitch .
