Hozia D. Jackson lived near Chicago, IL. He was last seen at a house party on February 25, 2012. He wasn’t seen alive again. On March 2, 2012, his family reported him missing to the Chicago Police Department. The Chicago police had suspended their missing person investigation on April 2, 2013.
On April 5, 2016 at about 10:20 a.m., a surveyor in the area just off the frontage road near highway 158, found the remains of an adult male. The surveyor called police and police found the fully decomposed body in the wooded area. The body was in a garbage bag and duct tape was found as well. The remains only included a skeleton. Two vertebrae were missing from the man’s skeleton.
Police sent some of the remains to the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification. Only a few months later, on August 17, 2016, the remains were positively identified as Hosia D. Jackson through Combined DNA Index System (CODIS). The Illinois State Police had Jackson’s DNA on file. In 2016 Kenosha Police publicized the revelation of the man’s identification, but nothing solid turned up.
Some clues:
Mr. Jackson was a homosexual and frequented gay dating websites such as “Adam for Adam.”
He was known to spend time with the gay community.
He was likely killed in Illinois and his body dumped in Wisconsin.
Detective Eric Kukowski really wants to put handcuffs on the person who murdered Jackson. He’s hoping that someone will come forward with information about this case.
Detective Kukowski urges anyone who may know anything about this case to call him at 262-605-5215. He wants to give good news to Mr. Jackson’s family. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can contact the Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at 262-656-7333.

Did they canvass Club Icon?? Check security footage there?
If the police were competent, and I assume they were, that would have been an investigative priority.
Maybe Sgt Hard knows something
Probably one of the places in Lake County.
