Kenosha Police Detectives told prosecutors that they located in their investigation at least 10 videos in Perez’s possession showing graphic sexual conduct, mostly sexual intercourse between adult males and adult females with prepubescent boys and girls.

Perez told police that estimated that he has viewed over 2,000 images of child pornography in the last year or so. He also admitted to having 10 videos of child pornography on his phone.

According to Perez, however, he told a Kenosha Police Detective he believes that he has a supernatural ability to perceive the future, particularly when someone is going to die. Perez admitted that he does “[his] own type of like catching a predator stuff” on his phone and explained that he was gathering child pornography in an attempt to catch those that distribute it.

Perez stated that he has used the app Telegram, which is a mobile application that uses heavy encryption and is therefore utilized by people exchanging illicit information, to locate and download child pornography. Perez stated that he first came across child pornography on another app, ***redacted***, when someone asked him if he was into “younger girls.” Perez said that other user then video chatted with him and showed him about 20 videos of children being “fucked” by adult males. The other user stated that he used Telegram to exchange these types of videos, so Perez took it upon himself to join Telegram and search for child pornography. Perez stated that he used search terms such as “Telegram for kids” and “teen content” or some spacedout variation of the term “CP” to located child pornography without being caught by Google’s algorithms. The defendant stated that he has been in contact with users who trade in child pornography and he has exchanged videos with them.

Perez admitted that he should have contacted law enforcement if he was seriously trying to investigate child pornography. He stated that he has never done so and was “gathering evidence”. He stated that he has “two servers” full of material and he claimed that he has reported other users to Telegram on several occasions for trafficking in child pornography.

Perez also claimed to be the “protector” of one of his neighbors, a female. Perez stated that he has had a vision where this girl dies and he has been performing investigations to prevent that from happening. He stated that he has solicited people online and asked them if they were willing to “rape” her for money “just to see if they would”. Perez stated that he dealt with someone named “Eva Maxim” who claimed to live in Kenosha and agreed to “rape” the girl for $250 but became upset with him when she found out that he did not have the money to pay her.

Pursuant to the search warrant, officers recovered a cell phone from Perez, two more cell phones from the apartment, a laptop computer and a tablet. These items have not yet been fully analyzed. They also recovered a DVD entitled “Young as they come” and the defendant’s Texas birth certificate. The defendant stated that he has only lived in Kenosha for about a year.

K9 Iris

Kenosha Police Detective Deates and his partner K9 Iris assisted in searching Perez’s home pursuant to a warrant. K9 Iris is a specially trained police dog that can locate portable storage devices often used to store illicit materials.

Perez is holding in the Kenosha Jail on a $100,000 cash bail and is due back in court on July 5, 2024 for a preliminary hearing.

  4. I wonder how a dog, trained to detect those type of things functions within a police detective office containing those things. I’m not saying what is on the devices are illegal, but the fact they are there…how does the dog know?

    1. I got to talk to the trainer of the police dog once at a community event he’s trained to sniff out the glue on the devices super weird but he showed the crowd when he hid tec and then had iris find it

  5. Will you be looking into the pitbull attack that happened last night at the same house that previously had a dog named Diamond? That dog was finally gone, but they got two more, and there was another attack last night. They should be banned from having dogs altogether.
