Nicholas P. Gordon (37) of Kenosha

A Milwaukee woman sued a Kenosha man and his business, Now Outdoors, LLC late last month. The company, according to its website, includes adventure tourism, wilderness first aid, first responder training, international expeditions, public speaking and education. Gordon is also an adjunct professor at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

According to the nearly 11-page lawsuit:

The plaintiff, “Tiffany,” met Nicholas “Nick” Gordon In August of 2023 on a social media app called Meetup. Tiffany, a Milwaukee attorney searched “Backpacking” and found Gordon – the two started to talk. Gordon uses this app to solicit clients for his business. Tiffany went on three adventures with Gordon to Munising, MI, Waupaca, WI, and Medford, WI. She had planned to go to more adventures in Cuzco, Pero, Nepal, Asia, and Tanzania, Africa.

Tiffany and Gordon developed a sexual and romantic relationship on the three backpacking trips that they went on together. The first time they were intimate, Gordon exited the shower in their shared hotel room with his penis “fully exposed.” Tiffany sent her friend an “OMG Text” depicting what just happened. After this, they exchanged romantic text messages, shared tents and hotels together, engaging in “sexual interocouse” several times – at least five separate and distinct occasions as laid out in the lawsuit.

Gordon, Tiffany, and several others bought plane tickets for a backpacking trip to Cuzco, Pero. Gordon told Tiffany that they would be sharing a room together for the trip, like they had done before. Gordon sent Tiffany a text message once stating they he feared leaving a key for her at the front desk of the hotel might “blow their cover.”

Once in Peru, Gordon told Tiffany that the two wouldn’t be sleeping in the same hotel room, but instead, Tiffany would be staying in a room with a stranger. Gordon then called a cab to have Tiffany taken to the airport to go home. Tiffany attempted to communicate with Gordon with the WhatsApp group to see what was happening and Tiffany learned she was blocked from the group.

Eventually, Tiffany agreed to sleep in the same room as the stranger. Tiffany was then told she wouldn’t be allowed on the backpacking trek. This is when Tiffany learned that Gordon was married. An acquaintance of Gordon told Tiffany, “I’ve known Nick a long time, and we go way back, and I’m appalled by your allegation of having a sexual relationship with Nick. Nick would never cheat on his wife – he’s happily married.”

Gordon then posted on Facebook:

“Facebook friends. A disgruntled participant who has been promptly removed from a NOW Outdoors international trip is actively harassing me, my family and friends, other participants, and NOW Outdoors with threats, defamatory comments, and false statements. If you see or receive any messages of this nature, please report the poster to Facebook and please send me a copy of the message. NOW Outdoors is committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment and will not tolerate this kind of behavior. Please forward any messages to me and block this individual. My family is well aware of the harassment.”

Tiffany filed suit on July 22, 2024 for the damages she claimed to have suffered, including more than $7,000 for the peru trip, including prep and gear, negligence, infliction of emotional distress, breach of contract, intentional misrepresentation, unfair or deceptive acts or practices, wages loss, and punitive damages.

KCE spoke with Gordon on the phone who said “no comment” and immediately hung up. The lawyers who Gordon says are representing him in this lawsuit, Padway and Padway also didn’t wish to comment either. KCE spoke with Tiffany. She believes that Gordon kicked her out of the Peru trip at the last minute so that his wife wouldn’t find out he was having an affair. She says she has all of her text messages and sufficient evidence to prevail in court. Tiffany also tells us that she was offered hush money to drop the suit and keep the details of the affair to herself.

“[I was] left all alone in Peru [and] Gordon showed an utter disregard for [my] safety.”

They are both due in court in January of 2025

      1. I think this man owes her and his wife an apology. I also think he owes this woman the money she lost on her airfare and loss of wages for time she took off because he sent her home. I would be furious if I spent a lot of money on a trip I could not take. That is just horrible. This case should be heard in court.

    1. Tiffanys 1st mistake was believing this punkass was a nice guy.

This lying bastard probably told her what she wanted to hear, just to get some action.

He likely started this business to solicit sex from female customers while ‘working’

The wife should divorce this turd and take 50%.
      Di not take him back

    2. No affair, no hush money, etc. All baseless claims. Sounds like Tiffany was just trying to use her crotch and her position as a Milwaukee defense attorney to vilify and extort money from this man and his company.

      1. If Nick is so innocent, why did he offer her $7,500, in writing, via e-mail, to keep her mouth shut, which she declined, because she was not willing to sign an NDA? If you would like to see the e-mail, I’m sure she would share it with you – send her an e-mail, and request it. She wrote a 50 page brief opposing the judge’s decision, which the Court of Appeals will ultimately rule on. Click the December 19, 2024 hyper link below to read. His lawyer’s response is due January 21, 2025. Stay tuned. It blows my mind how “Nick’s Fan Club” thinks failing to disclose you are married, cheating on your wife, defrauding your client of thousands of dollars, and engaging in defamation on Facebook alleging “she’s lying” about having sex with me is worth “liking”. Nick is disseminating misinformation to attempt to save his own ass. https://wscca.wicourts.gov/appealHistory.xsl?caseNo=2024AP002185&cacheId=CD48B8749DE028126974DA83838892A5&recordCount=3&offset=0&linkOnlyToForm=false&sortDirection=DESC

          1. Click the link above. After that link, go to the December 19th court entry. To the right of that entry, there’s another link that says Brief of Appellant. Click….it’s a good read. 👍

        1. It’s important to focus on the facts of the case. Tiffany is a successful lawyer who clearly doesn’t need anyone’s money. Her lawsuit seems to be about holding Gordon accountable for his actions and being reimbursed for the financial and emotional toll this situation has caused her. If she has evidence to back her claims, then it’s only fair that the case is heard in court rather than dismissed with baseless assumptions.

          1. Tiffany, the attorney, works for the State of Wisconsin – her income is public record. She made $263,848.90 in 2024. And for the wrinkly baboon who is saying she tried to extort money from the company, “by using her crotch” – you are a shameful, spiteful, disgusting liar. People who talk vulgar and dishonest like you, have internal hardwiring issues, and self-hate issues. You just make Nick Gordon look more shameful, then he already is.

          1. I know him – he’s cocky, manipulative, selfish . . . . could care less about his wife….he doesn’t even acknowledge she exists on his Facebook page. Not one picture of her, and he does not identify as married.

            9
            7
      2. That’s just bizarre to deny the obvious or easily proven. Simple people have simple solutions, but not good strategic planning.

    3. His first mistake was double-dipping – having sex with his wife and client. His second mistake was posting on his personal and business Facebook, denying the allegations of having sex, with his client. His third mistake was posting on FB insinuating he was “the big hero” when in fact he was attempting to cover-up his infidelity. His fourth mistake was having his cronies post here that the case was dismissed because there was no affair and no hush money – the Judge ruled (right or wrong) there was a romantic relationship, as outlined in the brief. His fifth mistake was thinking he could have his cake and eat it too. I’ll just tell my family, friends and clients that I didn’t have sex with her while simultaneously having my lawyers advance a theory that because I had sex with her, she can’t recover. I’m guessing the hush money is now in his attorney’s pocket.

      5
      6
    4. Nick Gordon the Owner of NOW OUTDOORS’s first mistake was thinking he could make untrue statements to his friends, family, clients and “FB friends”, in an attempt to defame the attorney, and then refuse to settle and start litigation which goes on for years. He’s too foolish to understand legal pleadings, motions, transcripts, court rulings and eventually Court of Appeal decisions, all exist, are all public record, can all be accessed with one “click” and will never go away. Not to mention, a simple search of Nick Gordon, Kenosha, leads right to this article. He never considered the feelings of his wife or children, and left a very tainted legacy for his children.

      1
      5
    1. Why is that?

If she didnt know this scumbag was married, whats the issue?

Nick the dick knew he was married, knew he was cheating on his wife multiple times, risking everything for some pie.

The dude is a total pig

      1. Perhaps she shouldn’t shack up with a male stranger and then decide to bang him. Better life choices equal better outcomes.

        27
        14
        1. I think she is going to get a pretty good outcome….Kenosha is a welcoming and safe place to be – the jury will be made up of hard-working people who will know he is a fraudster.

        2. Stranger?

This guy was her tour guide, not some random bar fly.

I wonder if this perv just caters to females travelers?

He is no doubt a slime ball.

I think he owes 2 people an apology:
          His wife
          and Tiffany.

          Probably only sorry getting caught

          36
          1
  1. Who knows how many times he’s used that group to hook up with unsuspecting members. Sounds like he finally messed with the wrong woman

    34
          1. Totally untrue! I know her personally and this was not a one night stand with a stranger! You probably shoulnd’t comment negatively without knowing the situation fully. I pray that this type of thing never happens to you or someone you know personally, your outlook may be different if you were in her shoes!

            24
            2
  2. Terrible to use a business to solicit unsuspecting victims. But to do that to an attorney is just plain bad judgement on his part too. What was he thinking. His wife should run and not just walk away.

    26
  3. Somehow I’m guessing this is not his first go at this. The problem here is that this time he picked the wrong mark and now it’s coming back to bite him.

    22
    3
  4. Consenting adults is one thing. But hopefully has not used this ‘business’ as a means to the achievement of his “pleasure”. I’m no judge & jury. Let the judicial system take its course and await the outcome. No doubt – time will certainly be telling.

    15
    1
  5. This is crazy. Whatever happened in their relationship, he can’t just ditch this woman in Peru and not allow her to participate. If he couldn’t continue the relationship, he really should have settled things with her prior to her flying to South America!

And anyone shaming a grown woman for having a sexual relationship needs to grow up. There are a lot of things off about this situation, but a single adult becoming intimately involved with another single adult (as far as she knew) isn’t one of them.

    32
    2
    1. Correct, but she should know that hooking up with a stranger will likely lead to other problems. She cannot blame him for her lack of judgement. Pretty scary that she’s a lawyer.
Dudes not innocent either- what a douchebag, but he’s not the only one here.

      12
      11
      1. Considering they had gone on a few trips together, doesn’t sound like a stranger. They met through a meet up group and had similar interests.

        20
        2
      2. He wasn’t a stranger and her record in the courtroom is very respectable. Her courtroom success demonstrates good decision making.

There’s nothing shameful about her dating and having an intimate relationship. I’m not sure who all these judgy pearl-clutchers are. Somehow people think educated people who perform well in their fields are morally superior and have personal lives that are impeccable. Just because someone rises to the top, doesn’t mean they deserve angel wings. I have to wonder how many of the people dishing out the shame about her dating have cheated on their spouses, but don’t direct that shame towards themselves.

        10
        7
        1. She’s a someone who seemingly prefers flings, who’s mad that her fling is married. Hardly news- worthy. When are we going back to consequences for actions? She didn’t vet properly so she lost $.

          8
          8
  6. He sounds predatory. No way this was the first time he used the business as a cover for his screwing around. She lost a lot of money on this trip and deserves compensation.

    29
    4
  7. Can you say predator, to bad criminal charges can’t be brought against him.
But Tiffany can destroy the douche bag and his business in court.

    17
    2
    1. And think out her choices in the future. Finding a man on an app and banging him after just meeting him is likely not a good idea. She’s lucky he wasn’t a serial killer.

      12
      8
      1. She did not find him on an app. She found him after NOW OUTDOORS (his company) solicited her to come on a backpacking trip.

  8. Or he can turn his business into camping for swingers and get what he really wants. She will probably be back.

    11
    6
    1. He probably won’t end up “with the other losers”. He’s clearly a smart, hard working, and successful guy. It sounds like he’s morally off in a big way, but he’s probably going to continue being successful. Think about it; he’s a professor and started a successful business and is married to a very nice person who also has a successful career. Those are the accomplishments of a loser.

  9. Who cares…this guy cheated on his wife, which is his personal business and he also runs a successful small business by all accounts…why is this anyone else’s business?

    9
    14
    1. Ripping off ones customers isn’t running a successful business. This problem could have been solved in reasonable way rather than leaving this woman out thousands of dollars.

      14

  10. the adventure starts with SHARED hotel room That is mistake number one.One could easily predick he was going to come out naked.”oops he said ” He calculated that move

    18
  11. I have no idea which party, or if both are at fault here. All I know, is that I don’t even like the way he looks.
He looks like an uppity, holier than thou college educated jerk.

    17

  12. An “attorney” and a “professor” got entangled in this mess. Makes sense. Two goofball “professions.”

    15
    5
  13. How dare this man lead her on like that! How would a woman know that he is married? I find men like that just horrible people. He wasn’t fair to Tiffany nor his wife.

    19

  14. Hush money?? Maybe this is a set up like Stormy Daniels, democrats, a corrupt DA and a biased judge. Is the offender MAGA?

    1. Im guessing the ‘hush money’ was the cost of the trip to keep dude’s unfortunate wife from finding out hubby is dirty.

Save up for a divorce, Nicky

YOU were wrong in sooooo many ways.

      16
  15. You should know something’s amiss when you book an OUTDOOR adventure and your guide sleeps in a hotel room. 🤡

    22
    1
  16. Take note of all the guys on here that think it’s okay for a guy to lie, cheat, f#ck around, etc. But then comment the woman is a ho and needs to “keep her legs together”.

They are the real problem. Treating women like possessions is the reason you are all lonely, divorced and sexless. Shut your mouth until you can pull yourselves out of the 1950s.

    18
    10
  17. 50% of Attorneys graduated in the bottom half of their classes.
I suspect “Tiffany’ isn’t the sharpest tool in her profession after reading about her “Confession”.

  18. Everyone is commenting about the consensual sexual relationship. That doesn’t appear to be the real issue here. The problem is that the business owner ushered the customer out of the country after the promise of an exciting adventure. I understand the cost; financially, physically, and mentally of taking challenging hikes and the excitement that builds leading up to the trek. What a disappointment that must have been for the customer and the group. Sounds like this was a very poorly handled situation. The customer is due some recompense and the owner should not mix business with pleasure as there is usually a downside to that equation.

    17
    5
  19. Some of these comments are totally crazy. Ppl, this woman was screwed over by this business owner. They had sex several times and he did not want to be outed when a closer friend was present on the last trip and so he conducted himself in a manner that is reprehensible by sending this customer and sexual partner on her way. And to top it off, HE is MARRIED, she is not! What a POS!!!!

    14
    4
  20. This is not good at all and very unacceptable. This guy should not be allowed to guide tours at all. He should be terminated and banned from the tourism industry forever. Guys like this are the ones that give bad reputation to tour guides and local tour agencies. He should not be doing tours and Tiffany should get all of her money back and more. I hope he gets what he deserves and that Tiffany gets her money back plus more because of going through all of this bogus unnecessary very unprofessional outdoors now agency. That agency should be banned from the tourism industry.

    10
    1
  21. As I understand from the article, the Nicholas Gordon is an educated adventure-loving man who created a for-profit tourism company. He met “Tiffany” online and provided the right answers to convince her to hire him to lead/escort her (as part of a group) on several trips. They hit it off and the developing friendship on the outdoor adventures led to multiple sexual encounters. This actually makes sense to me because the high adrenaline experiences of adventure traveling is almost romantic and can be described as and perceived as foreplay.

Then something changed whether it was her asking for more, him feeling different after achieving the sexual conquest or maybe a friend finding-out or be close to finding-out. Gordon did not reveal his marriage status to her or maybe she didn’t do her due diligence but I think that he was worried about being “outed.” He made several bad choices at the start of the Peru trip that I can totally see as the behaviors as being made from a position of “fear” and “anxiety.” He clearly didn’t think things through especially given that Tiffany is a very intelligent and successful attorney.

Despite her position in the world, I imagine that the events in Peru probably devastated her (abandonment, safety fears, etc) and that she felt the after-effects for a long time… perhaps akin to PTSD. A person doesn’t just snap out of it and simply move on. I am certain she was affected and probably inoperative for a long time. I am certain that she will provide evidence of such in court.

The hush money offer was obviously provided to buy her silence with the payoff clipped to an NDA. I am not surprised that she refused because she wants Gordon’s apology attached to the money. Maybe the money isn’t even important anymore?! A public trial in a courthouse is the best way to get that outcome. I do wonder if there were any laws broken that would interest the State after all, he did use his business to woo Tiffany and I’m thinking that this wasn’t the first time the he hooked-up with a client.

    13

  22. I hope she gets Nick the Dick for everything he has! What a lying SOB two-faced cheating scum bag! Also thanks for the warning… I would never trust this guy ever to take me anywhere!

    10
    2
    1. Yes. The confession – and the attempted recant – when he removed the word “prompt” in confession #2. Good point, Troy, I thought the same thing when I saw it and laughed. Perp does not have a legal mind and doesn’t understand persons with legal minds know how guilty people act and can predict every move.

      11
      4
  23. I firmly believe in living an open and public life. My wife ALWAYS knows where I am and who I am with. And she knows she can visit me (say a tavern, the Y) anytime and unannounced. She will never find me doing something inappropriate. The MOST freedom you will ever have is living honestly. No tracks to cover. No lies to remember.

    10
    1. What was the Court’s rationale? I heard it was a real doozy. Is Tiff appealing – the court record is indicative of appeal.

  24. He is a sexual predator using his business to get unsuspecting women to have sex with him. I’m sure there are other women out there that he has used . Only a matter of time before we hear from them. Tiffany is a brave woman to bring him into the light where he belongs .

    9
    21
  25. It is absolutely shocking how many commenters are completely missing the point here. Behind the all the salacious details, there is a really simple story: it sure sounds like Gordon defrauded this woman by disenrolling her from a trip that she had paid for and by ditching her in Peru. Aside from whatever happened romantically (and apart from all y’all’s name calling “she’s a ho”, “Nick the dick” etc etc) this sounds like a story about a breach of contract and, as such, all the sexy stuff is completely beside the point. Grow up, people 🙄

    10
    3
    1. No doubt there was fraud. Abandonning her (his client) in Peru was negligent as a business owner and reckless with no regard for her safety. That is the issue. Not their sexual activity. Agree with you 100%.

      7
      4
  26. Just to document the file . . . Feb 18 – Tiffany files a motion with the Court of Appeals. Nick Gordon summons his weak-minded followers to post more defamatory comments. It’s obvious based upon the 94 likes. The only one reading this article at this point is Nick’s cronies. Please note your “likes” and “victim shaming” is why people do not report abuse, because they’ll have to deal with the negative feedback of reporting it. This is the type of Man NICK GORDON is – takes a situation as outlined in the Feb 18, 2025 motion – and tells his followers to go make more defamatory comments. Justice is slow. But the system works.

  27. Tiffany is not the victim. This story is not true. It’s malicious entertainment, designed to draw attention away from what really happened and from who the real victim is.

    25
    1. Partially true. Tiffany is not a victim. However, Tiffany is in no way trying to “draw attention away” from what really happened. That will be FULLY disclosed in the reply brief, and Nick Gordon will be held accountable for his shameful, cowardly ways. But the big picture is this, it’s a case of 3 males who abuse power and lie, with such ease, in ways that are so easily disprovable, and they will all be exposed. One has already been exposed, and his already failing business will probably be forever affected, and his wife, who probably already finds him repulsive – will have to continue to deal with him. The 2nd man who enjoys abusing power will suffer a terribly excruciating demise at the hands of another powerful female wolf, K.G. And the third and most culpable abusive male – Ethan Padway – a member of the Padway and Padway Law Firm, – will be exposed by deadline. His lies are so easy to disprove, because everything is in writing. I’m not sure why he was willing to set in motion some unconscionable scheme, calculated to interfere with the judicial system’s ability to fairly adjudicate a legitimate claim – with his little damsel in distress romantic relationship which is sexist and sexually harassing – for his client who “didn’t even show up to court to answer inquiries.” Extortion letters, multiple material misrepresentations, lack of candor, prohibited dual defenses, are matters the lawyer community frown upon, and when you engage in such egregious conduct – the legal community finds you unfit. Time for the “sweating game” – Ethan Padway – “Barbie” has a present coming for you – it’s a Mona Lisa reply brief. And Caputo, you’ve tried so much to help Nick Gordon, but no matter how many times you say an “untruth” over and over and over again, it will never make it true. You can play judge, jury and executioner in your own little delusional world, but you swim in a pool with persons who lack integrity, and you’ll be doggy paddling your whole life, no matter what.

    1. You think the DOJ would be interested when 1 female PAYS thousands for a vacation and is (1) defrauded of thousands of dollars by Abusive Male #1 (Nick Gordon – the Tour Guide) and also defamed by Abusive Male #1 (Nick Gordon – The Tour Guide) that “she’s a liar and made up a sexual allegation – so I sent her home,” when Abusive Male #1 Nick Gordon (the one with the power in control) knows very well – he initiated all 5 acts of sexual intercourse with his client. For example, scooping her out of her hammock, telling her to get alcohol and a hotel, inviting her into his hot tent, and finally advising that she HAD to sleep in bed with him – because he put all the pillows on 1 bed only. (2) Then Abusive Male #2 (Attorney Ethan Padway) – sends an EXTORTION letter in attempt to make the little misses go away (which was e-filed with the Circuit Court) saying he will refer her for felony charges if she starts a lawsuit – despite the fact that she has committed no felonies. Tiffany is a criminal defense attorney – with 21 years of experience – Tiffany knows what a felony looks like. Tiffany is at the Milwaukee County Courthouse every day – so the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office would be able to easily find her, arrest her and charge her with all of the multiple felonies that the PADWAY AND PADWAY law firm alleges Tiffany committed in their Extortion letter – but to date – no felonies have been charged. Then Abusive Male #3 Nick Padway – give his son one of those “that a boy” compliments and files an Affidavit with the Court saying Tiffany’s response to the firm’s extortion letter was “improper.” A good father’s would advise their son – that extortion is bad and IS a felony. This Attorney Dad supports extortion and files Affidavits that are opiniated and frivolous. Then Abusive Male #2 – Ethan Padway (the son of Abusive Male #3 – Nick Padway) perpetuates a fraud on the court, relative to the female attorney’s sex life – inferring this was a 10 month “love affair.” when in fact Tiffany was a PAYING client 3 times ONLY and never had any contact with Nick Gordon outside the 3 PAID tours (either en-route to the destination, at the destination, or coming home from the destination) all to advance his “suing for heartbreak” scheme” Soliciting a client to come on “more tours” so he can have a little extra fun without the wife finding out – is NOT a romantic relationship – it’s using a business to lure un-suspencting clients to have sex with him. Abusive Male #2 (Ethan Padway) knows full well from the 40 pages of written negotiations this was NOT a romatnic relationship. Tiffany made it crystal clear in the 40 pages of written negotiations, that she just wanted to be reimbursed for actual costs and was not looking for 1 penny more – and that she wanted 3 apologies from Nick Gordon, Charles Morand and Suzanne McMillian for the crap they pulled in the lobby of the Peru hotel. Heartbroken people are “out for blood.” Tiffany just wanted to be reimbursed. Then Abusive Male #4 (Attorney Nick Zales) referred by a judge at the Warshefsky law firm, via the lawyer to lawyer directory – is retained. And instead of filing a brief which he is paid to do – he spends months sends thousands of unwanted texts and e-mails, many of which many are sexual in nature, in an attempt to get his PAYING client into bed, and eventually touches his client inappropriately. All while “according to Atty. Nick Zales” he is great friends and has served on a board with 2 of the female judges in District 2 Court of Appeals – that could be responsible for issuing a decision. Then we circle back to Abusive Male #1 (Nick Gordon) who has all his cronies post the female attorney is a cockroach and made up “another false sexual allegation” – after being sexually harassed and sexually assaulted by Atty. Nick Zales – this time using her real name. Of course the fact that Tiffany has thousands of texts and e-mails to disprove otherwise, does not preclude the Nick Gordon Fan Club from “attacking and posting more defamatory comments” – this time using the real name. At least Attorney Ethan Padway won’t be jumping around and screeching “not ascertainable – who the cockroach is.” I hope these 4 abusive males have some times to reflect, while Tiffany works on her reply brief. Tiffany will be recovering ALL OF HER MONEY. Tiffany will be making sure JUSTICE is served. I have a feeling – we won’t be having any more repulsive and disgusting comments by the Nick Gordon Fan Club, since Atty. Ethan Padway is probably under his desk crying, by this point, just like he was when Tiffany had a male attorney negotiate the original $7,500 offer. But once Tiffany took over – the all male firm – “ignored her” – as admitted to in their filings – because they are the most sexist all male law firm Tiffany has ever dealt with. I wonder how many of Nick Gordon’s Fan Club members will show up for court – when this gets reversed. Tiffany is not a damsel in distress type – nor did she start a lawsuit for “heartbreak.” Tiffany is someone who will grab all 4 males by the balls – and hold them accountable.

  28. The allegations against Mr. Gordon and his business are all baseless. The lawsuit was frivolous and dismissed.
