Somers, Wis. – A 42-year-old woman from Somers, Nicole M. Lehman, is being released today after her arrest earlier this morning. Lehman faces charges of Resisting an Officer and Disorderly Conduct after a disturbance at her home. In court this afternoon, she was granted a no-cash bail and pleaded not guilty. Lehman will return to court for a hearing on April 4, 2025. If convicted, she could face up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $11,000.
The incident began at about 1:14 a.m. this morning when Kenosha County Deputies responded to a call in the 4200 block of 6th Street regarding a family disturbance. The caller, identified as “Lily,” reported that her mother, Nicole Lehman, and her stepfather, “Mark,” were involved in a physical altercation. “Lily” stated that “Mark” had left the residence by the time deputies arrived. The deputies, familiar with the family from previous calls, were told that Lehman was highly intoxicated and that she had locked herself in her room.
According to the criminal complaint, “Lily” explained that Lehman had returned home around 12:48 a.m., visibly intoxicated and agitated. After a brief exchange about a purse, Lehman reportedly began arguing with “Mark,” before throwing items around the house. “Lily” claimed to have a video of the incident, though it only captured audio of the altercation. In the recording, Lehman can be heard slurring her words, yelling at “Mark,” and demanding a fight. Deputies also reported hearing objects being thrown and loud banging sounds.
When deputies arrived, they attempted to speak with Lehman, who was inside her bedroom. Despite being told that they were there to speak with her, Lehman refused to come out and continued to argue with the officers. Eventually, she exited the room wrapped only in a bedsheet. Deputies observed that Lehman was visibly intoxicated and agitated. During the encounter, Lehman dropped the bedsheet, exposing herself, before attempting to return to her bedroom. Deputies instructed her not to re-enter her room, given concerns about a potential firearm inside. However, Lehman refused to comply and continued to resist, forcing deputies to physically remove her from the room.
As the situation escalated, Lehman continued to be disruptive and uncooperative, yelling at the deputies and walking around the home while unclothed. Her youngest son was also present during the incident, causing further concern. After attempts to de-escalate the situation failed, deputies placed Lehman under arrest. She continued to resist and had to be physically carried outside the home and into the squad car.
“Mark,” who arrived at the scene after the arrest, told deputies that while he and Lehman had argued, the altercation never became physical. He confirmed that Lehman had returned home intoxicated, leading to a heated verbal exchange.

What’s the purpose for sharing this story and shaming her? Sounds like a family disturbance and a bad night and the police handled it appropriately. I’d rather see stories reported that affect the community and our kids, not behind closed home doors. Just my 2 cents.
Need to kick ‘lily’ outta that house! Calling the cops on family is dirty. What did it accomplish? He was gone and she could possibly do time and pay fines she doesn’t have the money for.

She shamed herself. Nobody did it for her. Personally I would be concerned too if there was a firearm in the house and someone in that condition. Think about it
I didn’t read that they were actually AWARE of a firearm in the house. Other than the police thinking that there might “possibly” be a firearm in the bedroom, nothing seems to indicate they had anyone tell them that there was one or that they saw a firearm. Why did they think there might be a firearm in the bedroom? I support the police , although, I hope it doesn’t come to a point when police can just say they THINK there might be a firearm in the room in order for them to arrest someone. Sounds like that could be a slippery slope. I understand the kid was afraid. I’m glad she called for help, but if they have been to this house on different occasions, maybe the kid, along with the.others, should have been moved to a relatives home until the parents can get their act together to have the child back.

The child was very brave to call the police. Mom is an out-of-control drunk and needs help. Dad was right to leave the home, but he should have taken the children with him. Does Kenosha still have Treatment Court? That is where she belongs.
What a trainwreck this woman is, and I feel so bad for her kids. Imagine the humiliation they have to endure seeing their mother out of control and being carried naked to a cop car. Those poor police officers! They should have kept her in jail until her hearing. She should have to face more than a year in prison and be forced to attend AA meetings.
