KENOSHA, Wis. — A Kenosha man accused of stalking and threatening his pregnant wife appeared in court Monday, where Court Commissioner William Michel II scheduled a preliminary hearing for May 28.
Michael J. Falcon Jr., 36, is charged with one felony count of stalking and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, both with domestic abuse enhancers. According to a criminal complaint filed Monday, Falcon repeatedly showed up intoxicated and uninvited at his estranged wife’s residence, causing fear and emotional distress.
The charges stem from a series of incidents earlier this month involving Falcon and his pregnant wife, who had left the couple’s shared home due to his excessive drinking and erratic behavior. She was nine months pregnant at the time and staying with her mother.
One encounter occurred around 2:30 a.m. on May 16, when Falcon allegedly banged on the door of the home, demanding she return with him. Later that same evening, he returned, again intoxicated, and demanded his bank card and phone. When she tried to help him search for the phone, Falcon allegedly told her to “get on her hands and knees” to look for it. When she refused, he threatened, “you’re gonna get it,” causing her to flee toward the house. Falcon reportedly chased her, pounded on the front door, and shouted expletives, waking their 11-year-old son and prompting the family to call police.
She told officers she feared Falcon may return and noted that he had access to firearms, including long guns. When officers later located Falcon, he was reportedly hostile and uncooperative during questioning and was arrested at the scene.
If convicted, Falcon faces up to three and a half years in prison and a $10,000 fine for the stalking charge, plus an additional 90 days and $1,000 for disorderly conduct. Both counts carry domestic abuse assessments if convicted.
