KENOSHA, Wis. — The second man accused of fleeing police after a shots-fired incident that led to one suspect carrying a gun onto school grounds was formally charged in Kenosha County Circuit Court today and given a substantially higher bail than his co-defendant.

Taron S. Price, 18, of Kenosha, was charged Monday in connection with the Dec. 11 shooting and given a $15,000 cash bail by Court Commissioner William Michel II. Price is accused of being involved in a confrontation that escalated into gunfire at a residence on the city’s south side before suspects fled the scene.
According to the criminal complaint, police were dispatched to the 6500 block of 28th Avenue after reports that two men came to a home demanding a fight and later displayed firearms. Witnesses told police a shot was fired toward the house as people ran back inside, with a bullet striking the exterior and continuing into a kitchen cabinet. Officers recovered a .45-caliber bullet and shell casing at the scene.
Investigators allege Price and co-defendant Jalen M. Montley were the two men involved. Witnesses reported the pair fled northbound after the gunfire. Montley was later apprehended after fleeing police on a bicycle and was found in possession of a handgun, which authorities allege he carried onto the grounds of Cesar Chavez Learning Station during his escape.
Price is charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety as a party to a crime, a Class F felony that carries a maximum penalty of 12 years and six months in prison.
Montley, 18, of Kenosha, was previously charged in the same incident with felony possession of a firearm on school grounds, carrying a concealed weapon, and multiple counts of resisting an officer. Despite allegations that Montley fled police and carried a gun onto school property, he was earlier released on just a $5,000 cash bail set by liberal activist Supplemental Court Commissioner David “One-Dollar” Hughes.
Price is scheduled to return to court on Dec. 19 for a preliminary hearing.

Tower time!
You’re a horrible human being. People of every race are in prison for every type of crime. I hate Kenosha. Most racist place I’ve ever been. And that’s saying a lot since I’ve lived in the south.
