KENOSHA, Wis. — Local businesses are being invited to sponsor the second annual Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade, scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, in downtown Kenosha.
The parade is being organized by the City of Kenosha, Visit Kenosha and the Lakeshore Business Improvement District. Organizers said the inaugural parade held in 2025 drew thousands of visitors to the downtown area and generated significant foot traffic for local businesses.
The event will again showcase a strong display of Irish spirit, featuring marching bands, dancers, and local businesses and organizations dressed in traditional green-themed attire.
The parade will step off at 11 a.m. from 50th Street and Seventh Avenue, proceed south on Sixth Avenue, and conclude at Library Park. The route spans just over one mile through the heart of downtown Kenosha.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses looking to gain visibility during the event. Benefits include branding and promotional materials, dedicated social media promotion leading up to the parade, and high-visibility branded signage during the event. All sponsors will also have the opportunity to participate directly in the parade with an entry.
Sponsorship levels range from $250 to $1,000, offering options for businesses of all sizes. The sponsorship deadline is Feb. 13, 2026.
Businesses interested in sponsoring the parade can contact Kris Kochman, Community Relations Liaison for the City of Kenosha, at 262-653-4177 or by email at [email protected].

Not trying to be a … but who is or was Eric Olson?
Eric was a fat clown, washed-up boxer who served on the KUSD school board years ago with fellow non-Mensa club member Marc Hujik. They invested KUSD funds in terrible investments, costing KUSD about $30 million. Eventually, after lawsuits many years later, KUSD recovered the currency. He died and should have been forgotten.
Yes, I was wondering the same thing
Where did they get that “Olson” is Irish??
