BRIGHTON, Wis. — A 75-year-old Kenosha man was killed Thursday afternoon in a serious three-vehicle crash in the Town of Brighton, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and area fire and rescue units were called at about 4:11 p.m. to the 2400 block of County Trunk Highway BD, where investigators say a Honda CR-V traveling southbound crossed the centerline and struck a northbound Ford Escape head-on. Moments later, a southbound Porsche Cayenne was unable to avoid the collision, struck the Honda, and left the roadway before coming to rest in an east-side ditch.
The driver of the Honda was trapped inside the vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was also trapped and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. That driver was extricated and flown by Flight For Life to a Milwaukee-area hospital. The driver of the Porsche suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Investigators believe the crash may have been caused by a medical emergency. Roadway conditions and vehicle speeds are not believed to be contributing factors.
The Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team responded and is handling the investigation. County Trunk Highway BD was closed for several hours while emergency crews worked the scene and investigators documented evidence.
The crash remains under investigation, and no further information has been released.

What’s the big deal
Going at court houe
I hear people say , “We should get the keys from dad before he kills someone.” Here’s an example. He nearly killed two others besides killing himself.
He’s only 75, good lord.
Going to make all the BOOMERS cry dude.
75 is not that old and the Sheriff reported in it’s press release that the driver appeared to have suffered a medical emergency prior to the collision. That could happen to anyone.
Yes, and it was due to a medical condition that could happen at any age!
So in straight language, the BOOMER, who should be tested yearly for driving competency, crossed the center line, caused the accident and offed themself, because they shouldn’t have been driving in the first place.
Now he has forever change two other people’s lives.
