KENOSHA, Wis. — A Kenosha County judge last week sentenced Tiron M. Washington to life in prison without the possibility of extended supervision or any release for the execution-style murder of 33-year-old Maximilian Moore, formally closing a case that prosecutors said was driven by a calculated attempt to silence a cooperating witness.

Shoulda just took the original gun charge like a man and own up to your mistakes. Now you’re in for life. Pure ignorance.
YN for you. They’re no good.
Yeah , anyone who represents themselves with a serious charge is an idiot!
I do wonder if one is scented to life in prison, do you have the option to take the death penalty, if you want? I’m serious, I know if I was in the position, and hopefully never will! I would rather have a quiet calm lethal injection or something. If you’re in prison for the rest of your life, what hope is there, what point is there? There is no reason to reform or lesson to be learned, if anyone isn’t ever allowed to eventually be released and put the lessons to practice. No. If it were me, I would beg for death. Life in prison is not life, no more fresh air, no more green trees, no more taste of homemade food with love. The body and what’s left of one’s soul will continue to rot away into oblivion, and is worth than the fate of death, it is worse. And, on a practical side for the people, it is a waste of taxpayers money and resources to lock someone away for life, and the end result is just his death all the same. Yes, the wrongdoers should not generally have the day in their punishment, but ultimately, if it’s the case to end your life, which has no hope to ever be free and to actually LIVE life, then death would be an act of kindness and is actually more human than being locked up, it’s almost Medieval for us to do so. But it is possibly the only act of kindness we can afford if we offer a peaceful death.
My apologies for a rant, All l judges ought to take a class in ethics or philosophy before becoming a judge. It is good to see the un-sugarcoated truth, no matter how painful, and maybe we can all elevate ourself a to a higher state of civilization. But who am I to say, I’m constantly on what should be known as the “Kenosha County Pillory” a website for looking at others’ downfall. No offense to Mr. Mathewson, it’s quite the accomplishment to set up an institution and hold everyone responsible for his or her misdeeds, maybe this is the future and the only way to live collectively as a society, to monitor, report and condemn wrongdoing.
Oh darn, more ranting, my apologies. But again back to life in prison, at that point the guilty party SHOULD have the option to end his or her life, it would should be the last act of kindness thst humanity could give to even the worst of persons.
*”worse than the fate of death” P1, line 13.
** “Yes “, the wrongdoers should not have their say…” —8th to 7th line from bottom.
Apologies for both the rant and especially the typos, no good deed goes unpunished.
