Hope he can get the help he needs
Fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son.
Just another man acting like a bratty child. Time to grow up big baby.
I don’t know anything about this man. And I don’t condone his behavior. But PPPD is so quick to put criminal charges on people experiencing a mental health crisis it’s disgusting, and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the officers escalated the problem to begin with. Police have a time and place in these situations but they often just make it worse….PPPD is reckless…not all of them… but some have such a bad attitude you could accidentally bump into them and they’d try to charge you with battery. I hope this person gets the help he needs but it’s not going to happen in jail.
I absolutely agree, he clearly wasn’t in his right frame of mind. If he doesn’t have good insurance his co pay for medication could be very high. They knew going into the call certain situations don’t cause for charges. Mental health is real, I feel sorry for him & he probably won’t get the right medication in jail either so are they going to keep charging him?! In jail they give you medications they have or close to what you take. I went to jail for driving & they had 2 medications I actually talk the rest made me feel so jumpy & weird. Next time I’m not taking them. & I have to take mine
They were overly aggressive with this man from the point of contact until he was in the ambulance pretty much. I don’t think it should be protocol to approach someone aggressively who isn’t being violent or belligerent when the initial call was for a mental health follow up.
