SALEM LAKES, Wis. — A former Kenosha County bar owner has filed a civil lawsuit against a 52-year-old Trevor woman, alleging she knowingly made false rape accusations that sent him to jail, destroyed his business, and permanently damaged his reputation, even though prosecutors later dismissed the criminal case after DNA evidence contradicted her claims. Ike D. Miller III, the former owner of the Kickstand Bar & Grill in Salem Lakes, is suing Ann E. Steigerwalt, accusing her of defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Miller is represented by longtime attorneys Skylar Croy and Joseph Bugni of the Madison-based law firm Hurley Burish, S.C.

KENOSHA, Wis. — Supplemental Court Commissioner Aileen “Half-Off” Henry (D) was back on the bench Monday, and once again, serious criminal allegations were met with surprisingly low bail amounts and repeated no-cash release decisions that many residents believe put the public at risk. 1. She should go to jail. She’s not the first woman that did it. She will not be the last. She should be in prison. I don’t know either one of them but this happens too often. By the way I’m a female.

    48

    1. I agree! Maybe SHE should be on a “false accuser” registry WITH her picture plastered everywhere to warn people to stay away from HER.

    2. Everyone should have 50k-100k saved up, just in case a vindictive person does this to them.Rape is such a horrible crime, there is very little innocence until proven guilty for those accused.

Just an accusation of sexual assault is probable cause for an arrest… There doesn’t have to be any other evidence a crime was committed other than the accusation.

The police will make an arrest even if they don’t believe the accuser. It’s not even their job to determine if the accuser is lying, it is solely the responsibility of the courts.

With the backlog of crime one could potentially sit in jail for years if they don’t have the means to hire a lawyer or pay bond.

False allegations of rape are a crime against all victims of sexual assault, law enforcement, the judicial branch, and those falsely accused.

All false accusers should be investigated and prosecuted. Less than a handful of generations ago we burned false accusers at the stake.

  2. If the lying female filth is a member of the Donna Wolf Steigerwalt “Jockey International” clan, this guy may get fine financial justice, provided there is a method to penetrate any assets under trust entities, which very likely are in place. Hopefully, even if today the lying vagina is a mental wreck, will get them fullest of punishments and has the very Worst of Goodbyes.

  3. The only thing worse than the crime, is the false accusation of such crime. How disgusting when a woman cries r*p* when it didn’t happen. Shame on her. Ike didn’t deserve that!

    20
    2
    1. I couldn’t agree more. There havnt been a lot of false allegations in Kenosha recently, the women need to be held accountable. Allegations from stalking, grape, and media posts. Headlines for more ad dollars… when the truth finally comes out… there needs to be accountability right after for the false statements.

      11
      2
      1. There won’t be. The justice system is setup to prevent accountability of the Accuser until AFTER the initial process of against the Accused is fully spent out. This ensures that the criminal defense attorneys will be fully “financially satisfied” – especially if the Accused has assets, which are assessed during the pre-trial procedures. Because this female Accuser may be a big trust fund beneficiary, a phase 2 civil suit will ensure the falsely convicted male will get the best legal talent because because a very big financial jackpot is at stake with a successful judgment – if the law firm has the ability to collect it. The male may not get much after his firm’s legal expenses are covered plus their profit, but may get a possible nice residual and consolation that the female liar suffers maximum financial damage.

  4. She also has been arrested in Tampa (March 2022) for child endangerment / drinking and driving… let that sink in.

    10

  5. Lying to Police !
    Lying to the DA ?
Shouldn’t she already be in jail ?
At least arrested and charged ?

Regardless of the civil suit, she committed a crime didn’t she ?

    What am I missing ?

Xavier ? Care to chime in ?

  6. Lost his business to this? His reputation? Ike is a well known raging alcoholic for over 20 yrs. The bar was hanging by a literal thread at the time! I’m not saying he deserved any of this, but the back story matters.

    6
    12
      1. The article states, he wants to sue for damages of reputation and business failure. So, he wants to go back in time 20yrs ago? Or, be paid out a buck two fifty and a shot of corn whiskey at time of damages. And IF you can read, I never said he deserved to be brought up on charges by this “hooker”.

        2
        4
  7. This is exactly why low or no bail is so important…..so many people lose jobs, places to live, and face irreparable harm for things that have not been adjudicated yet

    3
    2
    1. Slow your role punisher… this crowd ain’t having no fool tell them about no cash bail. That would mean all the brown folks get out right away too then!
