WADSWORTH, Ill. — An off-duty Kenosha County Sheriff’s deputy is being credited with quick thinking that may have prevented a devastating house fire from turning deadly early Saturday morning in Wadsworth, Illinois. 1. … I worked at a construction company where the Owner lost his license due to drunk driving.

He hired a Polish guy who could barely speak English to drive him around. All the guy had to do was pick the owner up at home at 5am and bring him to the office. Then the guy grabbed a broom or lawnmower or a paintbrush and kept busy until the boss needed to go to a job site or a bar for lunch.
Drove him around all day including after work bar hopping until the wife showed up to haul his ass home. Did that for a couple of years.
This guy should think about it.
God knows he can afford it

  2. First of all , he needs his ass kicked and taught some respect for women. And keep your ass off the roads when drinking. There are so many resources available such as “safe ride” “Uber” Lyft, etc.

    31
  3. Can’t believe how many drunks still drive. I’m 84, gave it up even tho I’m alert and no big health problems. I know my reflexes aren’t as good anymore.

    13

  4. Worst company to work for! Been an up and coming company taking a lot of work but looks like they need to step back and find a new ceo!

    23
    8
  5. Seen these types before, drunk with power. ….Ha, ….he’s all hat and no cattle.
Bashing a woman???? If I worked for that company I’d quit out of principle. How can you call yourself a journeymen/tradesmen and let that crap slide? Used to be a noble profession, a freeman as it were in the old days.
I see a Bud Light moment coming in 3….2…..1…..cancel. Closed.

    12
    5
  6. Used the company for many residential projects. Always found them to be pretty good, expensive, but good.

Then they went 100% commercial without notifying any of their decades-long residential customers. Hope the company gets destroyed, especially after incidents like this.

    Paybacks can be a bitch.

    16
    13
  7. Anyone who stays employed with this company condones violence on women. They should have spoke up or stood in the gap for her. …and they call themselves men. Pathetic.

    14
    3
    1. Anyone who spoke up about this got fired except for Brandon’s girlfriend/ fiancée. She’s still there and still with Brandon but the employees who defended her and demanded an explanation got fired. Does that make sense?

  8. This guy was a piece of shit on the jobsite 10 years ago. How in God’s green Earth did Bob Lee let this man fall upwards into CEO of his company as a perennial drunk and overall douche bag! You should hear some of the internal stories, issues this man has had at Lee with other coworkers, it’s disgusting! When YOU are the common theme in all these disputes Brandon… YOU are the issue!

    16
    1
    1. I worked there for 2 long years and Brandon was always the problem. Drinking in his office, being allowed to sleep there overnight, and always trying to get with the girls. He is the reason I left besides the “Christian” owner and previous CFO doing shady business. Horrible company.

      4
      2
  9. I am shocked that Bob Lee hasn’t fired him. This was in December. Does he not have daughters? What about the employees at Lee? Especially the women? Are you safe? This is asking for lawsuits.

    17
    2
    1. The alleged event occurred early December and the photo with the victim “blurred out” standing directly next to the defendant was taken at a company-function in February. Makes you think what kind of culture is approved over in the office at Lee Mechanical.

      8
      2
      1. You would be surprised on the kind of office culture that is acceptable. According to the comments being made I think there’s another investigation that needs attention.

        1
        2
  10. I feel the employees of Lee are condoning this. He still works there? He’s still meeting with employees and females? This is so wrong.

    11
    4
    1. Does your comment have anything to do with the issue at hand? Nope! Just a petty person who wasn’t asked to come along that they have to slander other peoples good names. Slander is illegal as well. You shouldn’t tell people that you wrote this. Obviously it shows where their loyalty rests!

Did you forget who you work for? A cocaine addict that uses company funds to pay for prostitutes for all of his hunting friend’s while his teenage, coke head wife sits at home? Everyone knows about the shady doings of the mechanical contractor you work for. Glass houses buddy, glass houses.

      5
      4
      1. And this is why you make sure your own hands are clean before you start pointing fingers. Things come out that you may not want.

        1. Where is he listed in the article? This is confusing. Anonymous people shouldn’t be naming other people. Is this a joke to you?

          1
          1
        2. You forgot the part where he said slander is illegal as well. Something to contemplate. How would you know who is making the comments? Odd comment section.

          1. The person who posted the original comment told myself and a few other people that he posted it. He who posted the comment has also been the one who “brags” about what his boss and owner of the mechanical contractor uses company funds for since he is also on these hunting trips. He doesn’t zip his lip. Whomever is Mr Olds is not slandering anyone. These are proven facts from customers whom were offered such drugs stated, and witnesses to company funds being used to pay for unethical “parties”. The wife is not a teenager however there is a 25 yr age difference between them.

            1. So the guys in the green trucks go on “hunting trips” ? I just want to follow the comments correctly. I forgot about the article trying to keep up with the posts.

      2. So nothing has changed in the last 15 years? I know exactly what narcissistic prick you are referring to without reading any further. We used to call it “The Good Old Boys” hunting club as there is truth in everything you said. I liked his polar opposite sibling though. He was the smart one.

  11. Whatever happened to “innocent until proven guilty”. You people are so quick to judge it’s sickening. Then dragging others into this, super classy. Can we at least wait until the man is judged?

    2
    2
    1. It’s because EVERYONE in the industry local knows this guy. There have been reports of knock down screaming arguments at the office. 4 DUI charges, 3 stuck. He beat a woman and you say something stupid.

      4
      3
  12. Allegedly the only reason Bob did anything at all after this supposed wife beater had the incident, was because a high level client told him to not because he thought it was the right thing to do.

    4
    4
    1. “Allegedly”? Is this your way of trying to start a fake rumor to help your narrative ? You must be competition to them hoping this helps your business out.

      4
      2
      1. Interesting you’re standing up for anything related to this. Dude beats a woman and you have people on here standing up for him haha. Get his P out of your mouth

        3
        2
        1. Can you point out the comment where someone condoned this behavior? I don’t believe he had his day yet in court. It seems more of a fight between people commenting than anything else. Not sure what this has to do with anything. The comments are more of a story than the actual article.

              1. The trucks are green. I googled it like the guy said. Interesting to say the least. Is anyone quitting out of principle? Inquiring minds want to know..

      1. Only out of desperation does one try to use this situation as leverage against the company. The family needs privacy at this time.

        3
        3
  13. Sounds like a human resource nightmare
Could be opening up Lee Mechanical to a bunch of sexual harassment lawsuits if Brandon was her boss .
    What a shame

    4
    3
  14. Anyone that personally knows Brandon understands that he is guilty. Brandon is a shit person with no morals, none of us are shocked by this.

    10
    6
    1. We don’t all know the guy. Let him have his day in court. Why would you make things worse for his family? If he has children it’s not easy for them to be going through this.

  15. These green truck driving fools are funny throwing mud around. Like their owner didn’t get arrested in Vegas for getting beat up by the hooker he tried to drug. Instance after instance all swept under the rug. He’s just better at paying people off. Maybe KCE should start looking investigating that….

    7
    5
  16. Oh my, Brandon the scum is trolling the comments in attempts to save his reputation. Dude you are trash, good luck finding a new employer.

    7
    1
    1. Again, nothing to do with the article at hand. Accusing someone of trolling when it looks like others are as well. The comments are enlightening to say the least. Wondering who the company is with green trucks. Would they feel morally obligated to leave?

      3
      1
          1. Beating a women, does in FACT, make you a piece of shit. Why is Brandon in the news? YOU should reread the article. Maybe have someone illustrate it for you.

              1. The fact that brandon is a piece of shit does not equate to condoning violence, actually, it’s the opposite. I wouldn’t expect a 🫛🧠🫏 to comprehend.

  17. Wow. You people turned this into something it shouldn’t be. Hope everyone posting the childish comments are proud of yourself. Stay classy MKE.

  18. I don’t know all the facts behind the headlines but, there are always two sides to every story. From what I’m told this was a shock to everybody at the company. The DUI’s were known for some time, and though not an excuse, they seem as common as speeding tickets in this state. This situation is clearly different and it seems like the executives made the right call to step in and remove him. We’ve all got our own demons to deal with, but I know first hand that there are many good people working there who deserve to see the company keep succeeding. Rooting for the crew that define LEE to stay strong. We are all just people. Not one of us is better than the other and we all explain our actions to a higher power someday. Critical comments on news articles are not exempt.

    11
    3
    1. They removed him 3 months after the fact. And as someone who doesn’t work there I heard him and his GF had loud yelling fights constantly. Quit making excuses for Lee and for Brandon. It’s sad.

      3
      2
        1. The accusations of the 4 dui charges, the now domestic abuse charges? Or ALL the stories from encounters with him. Keep living in fantasy land papa Smurf.

          1
          2
  19. Was hush hush when he was drunk and snapped both arms on his buddies kid and almost killed his own kid pulling a zero turn lawn mower fast as f$$! With his UTV drunk after he got told to leave a company event for getting hostile

    1
    2
    1. No one in the comment section knows if that’s true. Sounds like you’re friends with the guy. I hope he gets help. Sounds like he needs a fresh start. Posting things not in the article isn’t helpful.

      3
      2
  20. Although I don’t work for Lee, I am employed by another contractor.

The memes and jokes circulating around the job sites are honestly appalling. Making light of domestic violence and someone’s obvious struggle with addiction is not funny. How many of the people sharing those jokes have loved ones who have experienced domestic violence or battled addiction themselves? And the “green truck” group adding Brandon’s charges to their St. Patrick’s Day invitations only highlights how toxic the workplace culture has become. It’s disappointing—and frankly, pathetic. Domestic violence is not a joke, and neither is addiction.

This behavior comes across as immature. No one is perfect, and everyone has their own issues they wouldn’t want publicly mocked.

I hope this can be taken as a learning opportunity. Actions have consequences, and it’s important to remember that.
