SALEM, Wis. — The Westosha Central High School District Board of Education has appointed Jacob Biehn to fill the at-large seat vacated earlier this year by Bonnie Felske.
Biehn was selected after the board interviewed five candidates and conducted deliberations before making the appointment, according to a district press release.

The vacancy was created following Felske’s resignation, which the district previously confirmed but did not publicly explain. The at-large designation means the position represents the entire district rather than a specific municipality within the Westosha Central boundaries.
Biehn is a 1999 graduate of Westosha Central High School and has longstanding ties to the community. He is the parent of one current Central student and one graduate. District officials described him as a lifelong Kenosha County resident with professional and personal connections to Westosha.
He previously worked in education for 16 years, including eight years as a special education teacher and eight years as a special education administrator. In 2020, Biehn transitioned into business ownership in Bristol, while remaining involved with the school district through student employment and program support, according to the release.
Biehn’s first board meeting is scheduled for March 10, 2026. His appointed term will run through April 2027, when the seat will appear on the spring election ballot.
