Wheatland Woman Charged Again; Despite Three Open Cases, Commissioner Sets Low Bail and Allows Contact With Victim in Latest Case

WHEATLAND, Wis. — A 24-year-old Wheatland woman now facing multiple domestic violence and bail jumping charges returned to court Friday on a fourth criminal case, and once again received a low cash bail. Despite a pattern of repeated violations and new charges while out on bond, Commissioner William Michel set her bail at just $1,500 and allowed her to have contact with the alleged victim in the newest case.
