KENOSHA, Wis. — The City of Kenosha is asking residents, business owners and community stakeholders to help shape the city’s future by taking part in a new survey tied to its upcoming 2050 Comprehensive Plan.
City officials say the plan will serve as a long-range roadmap for how Kenosha grows and invests over the next 25 years. The survey seeks public input on issues such as housing, transportation, parks, economic development, sustainability and overall quality of life.

Mayor David Bogdala said community feedback is critical as the city begins planning for the future.
“Planning for the future of Kenosha starts with listening to those who call our city home,” Bogdala said. “I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to participate and help guide how we grow, invest and strengthen our community for generations to come.”
The city’s comprehensive plan helps guide decisions related to land use, housing, mobility, parks and natural resources, economic development, historic preservation, public facilities and environmental resilience.
Under Wisconsin law, municipalities are required to update their comprehensive plans every 10 years to reflect changing community needs and priorities.
The survey is expected to take only a few minutes to complete, and city officials said all responses will remain confidential and be used only for planning purposes.
Public meetings on the 2050 Comprehensive Plan are expected to be held throughout the summer. Dates and locations will be announced later through the city’s social media channels.
Residents can access the survey through the city’s website or by contacting the City Development Department at 262-653-4030.

That survey is so poorly written. I hope they didn’t pay someone to write it. Embarrassing.
