Defense attorneys and prosecutors met briefly today without the jury in the Zachariah Anderson murder trial. DA Graveley withdrew his motion for a mistrial and the parties have agreed on how to proceed next with “curative instructions” to be read to the jury. The trial will begin again tomorrow with Defense attorney Nicole Muller’s opening statements.
Fired Salem Special Ed Teacher Was In Possession Of And Under The Influence Of Cocaine On School Grounds: Kenosha County Sheriff
A now-fired Salem School District Special education teacher was under the influence of and possessed cocaine and paraphernalia on school grounds. According to Sgt. Coultrip with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department: “On October 16th around 3:30pm, Salem Grade School Administration contacted the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department asking for a Deputy to assist in the search of items left behind by a school employee who had resigned, Kayla Fasko.
