Brett Basley – Principal, Nash Elementary School

Many sources have told KCE that Christian Enwright, an alleged groomer, who is on leave from KUSD, has been at a KUSD elementary school, among students aging from 4 to 10 years old.

Mari Enwright – Nash 3rd Grade Teacher (Christian’s Mother)

Many sources have told KCE that Christian has been spending time at Nash, with his mother, Mari Enwright. We got so many reports of this, in fact, that we decided to fact-find. We emailed Principal Brett Basley. He waited several days and then told us he could not say whether or not the alleged groomer had been spending time with his students.

He pointed us to the district’s “Spin-Master-Flash,” Tanya Ruder. She, of course, wouldn’t tell us why Christian Enwright was at the school citing a “personnel issue.”

If Christian really hasn’t been at Nash Elementary as has been reported to KCE many times, not telling us so, does a disservice to Basley and Christian’s mother. By not answering, it seems to make the truth apparent.

KCE today made a public records request for those of you that want to know exactly how much money people that allow our children to be groomed are making. WE will post the info as soon as we get it. May take a while.

      1. My guess is someone is gaming the like buttons, and it’s so obvious that I don’t really care to take time to fix it.

  1. Can’t you do a public records request for each time his WIDL was scanned to check him into the building. All visitors must be scanned into the computer. If it’s not there, then they also violated policy. Doesn’t make for a very secure school then.

      1. Finding out exactly how many times he “visited” this building where “his mother works” is pertinent to the problem/process of a suspended employee having access.

It’s totally part of the story

        14

        1. Looks like a lawsuit against the school and the security process for allowing an employee who shouldn’t be at a particular school, (or any school property) of having access !!!
Can any school employee go to any school throughout the system ??
Different from the school they are assigned ??
As a parent, I don’t have an access card and probably couldn’t get past the front door if I didn’t have a child in that school building.

Still not understanding the thumbs down here. Instead of thumbing down, please explain why this or any person should be allowed in the building for any reason other than to teach !!

Visiting a “at work employee” is not allowed for many reasons, public or private unless there is a specific time sensitive matter.
          Why should they ??

          15
          14
        1. All the thumbs down are probably the school board and their friends along with the Union that back these perverts!

          6
          1
  2. My children are adults. I don’t have young children in KUSD anymore. But I’m planning to attend the protest. It’s not about YOUR children it’s about protecting ALL Children. Please come show KUSC that Kenosha will not tolerate abuse of our community’s children!

    18
    3
    1. I agree. We should ALL go and protest! I love nothing more than wasting my time on something that’s been alleged all along!! I thought Kevin dispised the left. This is awfully liberal of him

      1. Seeing the proof of hundreds of texts after midnight isn’t alleged. Yes, even you favorite people can turn out to be pedos. Get your head out of the sand.

        7
        9
  3. We need Matt Walsh at the Daily Wire to get a hold of this story. National attention may help push KUSD to do the right thing. It is sick how many groomers the district employs.

    19

    1. Unfortunately even doing a background check won’t show anything if this is their first offense. Then again, I’m sure if they have done it before that the jerk of a DA never charged any of them. Seems to be his motto!!

  4. Is he on paid leave? I don’t recall seeing this anywhere.

He probably had to visit mom to make sure they got their lies straight.

    7
    50
    1. Don’t diss on his mom. She taught 2 of my children and they absolutely adored her, as did I. She’s a wonderful lady, regardless of what her son has done.

  5. Parents, have you looked through your kids’ phones lately? Or do you mistakenly think you have no rights, as a parent, to monitor your minors’ online/texting activity?
Do your children a favor: be nosy, be curious. If they’re under 18 and you’re their legal guardian, you have every right to monitor their phone.

There’s also software you can download on their phone that allows you, the parent, to monitor texts, photos and apps. I had a monitoring software downloaded on the computer that my kids used and read a conversation my 8th grade daughter was texting with a friend. The friend texted her about an older neighbor guy that had snuck in her bedroom window a couple times. Obviously I alerted the girls’ parents. Be vigilant for the children!

    12
  6. Voters that voted for this school board are you still happy with these people who help these sicko teachers?

  7. Putting this out there before everyone loses their minds…AND LET ME BE CLEAR No one wants to see or hear of children being in an unsafe situation, harmed or manipulated. Ever.

Before everyone starts marching with their pitchforks to the KUSD headquarters located at the storage building, please think of these things:

Are you certain the principal of the school had been informed of the leave? If not, it’s wrong to accuse him of allowing the visit.

Are you certain Mr. Enwright was already on leave when he was at his mom’s school?

As with any internal investigation at any business or workplace, matters such as this are always sent to superiors/leaders. It is not a surprise to anyone the principal sent you to the district for comment on this matter.

Exactly how many reports of the visit(s) did you receive, Mr. Mathewson? And exactly what facts did you give in your article? A majority of your words come off as hearsay.

I’m not supporting Mr. Enwright. I’m not supporting the district. I’m waiting to hear the facts.

Unless you know ALL the facts and have a source more credible than the bogus instigator, Mr. Mathewson, I suggest you lower the torches against this particular school and its staff.

  8. The root cause is the leadership in this country. Trump visited the Miss USA’s dressing room. When you vote a guy like that into a leadership role, this is what happens. The problem is you can’t throw one in jail without throwing the other in jail. I’m sure that 75% would agree that both should go to jail and the remainder would favor letting one of them go scott-free. So if you think one of them shouldn’t go to jail, you are part of the problem.

    2
    9
      1. Yes, our leaders set the expectations. There’s always loonies that think their guy is totally innocent and perfect.

        1. How about Clinton and PaulaJones , don’t forget, blue dress Monica. Why was this ok and then you blame Trump?

          6
          2
          1. Nobody blamed Trump. DUH! The point is that you can’t have it both ways. If you vote for people that think it’s okay to “grab ’em by the pu**y,” then you don’t get to complain about a teacher chatting on Snap Chat.

            3
            4
            1. Curious if you voted for Yolanda Adams or Sabrina Landry? Yolandas granddaughter was molested by her son. She stood by her son during the trial. Landrys husband sexually assaulted an unconscious woman. Both of these incidents are PUBLIC RECORD. Look for yourself. If you supported them, sit down!

    1. Ah here we go… Orange man bad. It’s Trumps fault or is it Russia? Trump has his hand in EVERYTHING. Now the bad man is responsible for this predator teacher and the administration protecting him. Damn Trump did it again!

      4
      1
      1. If you want to vote for a pu**y grabber, then it’s YOUR fault. Nobody is talking about Trump. The problem is YOU. YOU do the damage to this country. Not teachers. Not Snap Chat. YOU vote in the foul-mouthed immoral leaders. It’s YOUR fault.

        3
        1
        1. Did YOU vote for Yolanda Adams or Sabrina Landry? Yolanda’s granddaughter was molested by her son. She stood by her son during the trial. Landrys husband sexually assaulted an unconscious woman. Both of these incidents are PUBLIC RECORD!

    2. It’s all Trump’s fault, typical pedo loving lib response. Why don’t you take a look at your illegitimate sniffer in chief you voted for, the one who likes to shower with his frightened daughter, lol.

      3
      1
      1. Typical cultish response. Why don’t you pay attention. I don’t care who you idolize. But if you vote for a pu**y grabber, then STFU when it comes to teachers on Snap Chat. You have no moral grounds to stand on. This isn’t about your guy being from one party or another. It’s the fact that you support a pu**y grabber.

        1
        3
            1. Hi Joel. You can’t help yourself can you? How are the therapy sessions going? Do you tell the doctor about all your trolling? Is there a pill for that?

  9. It’s clear that the people commenting do not know Mr. Basley. I don’t know why he is on trial here. He has nothing to do with Mr. Enwright’s employment or his status. As to why Mr. Basley wouldn’t comment it’s because it is school policy not to discuss a case that is under investigation. He has nothing to hide here. I don’t understand why this article has his picture front and center simply because he employs Mr. Enwright’s mother as a teacher. This article does a complete injustice to a great principal. I understand people should be held accountable and people want justice, but smearing this man’s reputation isn’t right.

    28
    4
    1. He is the principal of Nash School !

The Top employee of that building. The person responsible for all that happens in the four walls !
And he’s letting in a person who has absolutely no reason to be there.

So he gets the big question. Why is a person who other than having a school ID is allowed to be in this building ???????

That’s why he’s the Face of this Story.
Get your head out of your ass and think !!

      8
      16
      1. Do you think the principal sits at the front desk and buzzes people in all day? How would the front ladies know he wasn’t allowed in the building? Do you know for a fact that he entered a kusd building while on leave? All of this is hearsay

        5
        1
        1. Knowing who’s allowed in ??

          …….from above….
“Do you think the principal sits at the front desk and buzzes people in all day? How would the front ladies know he wasn’t allowed in the building”

With the $millions$ that are spent on front door security, limited access points, check in processes and more,
          I’ll ask again,

WHY IS A PERSON WHO DOESN’T WORK IN THE BUILDING AND DOESN’T HAVE A CHILD ENROLLED BEING ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING ??? (by the ladies up front)

DID MOM FORGET HER LUNCH ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER ??

If anyone fitting that description comes to the door, they should have an appointment with someone who’s expecting them !!

Taken from a different view, this front staff is allowing a “suspended, possibly disgruntled district employee on premises for no legitimate reason !!!

If he needs to communicate with his MOMMY he can send her a text !!

I think he knows how !

          6
          10
      2. You are right on one thing…he is the principal and top employee at his school.

If you knew the district policy (and did your research) maybe you wouldn’t be so rude…When someone is on leave in the KUSD district, no one is informed for privacy purposes. If you have a problem with this policy please take it up with the district.

Therefore, Mr. Basley was not notified of the leave so cannot be held accountable here.

Second, you don’t even know if Mr. Enwright was at his mom’s school while on leave. Again, find the facts first, then spout off.

        3
        2
        1. Get your head out of your behind. They knew. Mommy knew. mommy knew he shouldn’t be in the building. Like people don’t gossip? His wife was running her mouth about it…. Teachers are a small network. I’m sure they ALL knew .

          4
          14
        2. I call bullshit!!!

This pervert shouldn’t have access to any KUSD building considering the charges against him!!!

The company I work for removes access to the building even when out for a medical leave!!! Then again KUSD doesn’t follow rules, so why should this not surprise me??

    2. He gets the big bucks to run this school.

If he can’t answer or worse yet, doesn’t know the answer, than he shouldn’t be in charge of this school !!

Hiding behind some policy to not respond to questions by whomever is Bullshit !!
He knows that he shouldn’t let this person in the building. But he doesn’t know enough of about his number one job, which is to keep children safe !!
He wants all the teachers to like him !! And standing up to this person doesn’t get him the likes he wants.

This principle needs to step up
      and have principles !!

      4
      11
      1. You are right and that is his job.
The only thing you’re not considering is the fact that was he informed by the district that Enright was suspended?
I blame all of this on KTEC and not NASH.
How do you know if you’re not told!

      2. Actually, Scott Walker made sure we don’t pay very much to the people that we’d like to count on to protect our children. You get what you pay for.

        1
        1
  10. For all the people here that are supporting this principle saying he did nothing wrong, you’ve got that half right. He did nothing.

    (from a comment above)

“If you knew the district policy (and did your research) maybe you wouldn’t be so rude…When someone is on leave in the KUSD district, no one is informed for privacy purposes. If you have a problem with this policy please take it up with the district.
Therefore, Mr. Basley was not notified of the leave so cannot be held accountable here.”

“accountable here” ?? If not here, then where ?
Being in charge is the definition of accountability.
Privacy ? When you become a government employee you lose your work privacy.
Not notified ? If the top person isn’t aware and trusted with that information then why have anyone at the top at each location at all ?

Yet here you are blaming the messenger. Saying there is no proof. No evidence.
    What’s your evidence he’s wrong ?

This whole country is being exposed for all that is wrong. Locally and nationally government employees are being exposed for not doing their jobs. Not following laws. Not thinkng about the consequences for what they do or worse, what they DON’T DO !!

Kevin Mathewson. Our very own Kenosha Kevin Mathewson is pulling the curtains back showing us what others won’t. Our legacy news paper is nowhere here. Other local websites steer clear of controversial topics for their own reasons. They’ve picked a lane and stay in it.

But Kenosha County Eye has taken up the fight far and wide across this county. From fire departments to schools to shootings and even Feel Good Friday Reporting.

If you think Kevin would risk all that he has worked for by reporting falsehoods about serious subjects as this teacher pediphile, you don’t know what you are talking about.

Schools are supposed to be sacred safe places we send our children to learn. Not places to be groomed. But sadly it happens. And when bad things happen, we need to know.

Our world has changed since everyone down to 5 years old children have phone and recording devices in their hands and pockets. Everything that you’ve read here and other places have been going on forever. But because we now can verify the bad things, we have to admit to ourselves that they do happen.

    So don’t blame the messenger,
    deal with the message.

    2
    0
    1. I am curious though…why haven’t the parents been outraged and did protests with all the other teachers that Keven reported?

I hope this good reporting is the beginning of seeing parents finally waking up and stepping it up against the Groomers, Sexual harassment’s, sexual assaults, inappropriate touching and all the other horrible things teachers have been doing in the KUSD! Thank you Kevin! Keep up the great reporting!

      2
      2
  11. Is anyone going to bring up Christian Enwrights 3 part owi arrest video on youtube? He repeatedly says he is a “pos” and no one can help him, and making suicidal remarks.. He also mentions in tje first video being a fire arm owner.

  12. I blame the district admin and mommy. He could be a disgruntled employee looking to cause serious harm. All schools should have been notified that he was suspended. With all of the school shootings how was this missed? This is terrible safety planning but not surprising.
