Since the fall of 2023, Kenosha County Eye has received countless tips via phone calls, text messages, anonymous emails, and other methods, about rumors of migrants being housed in KUSD schools that are now closed.

In January of this year, we spoke with unified who assured us that there was no truth to these rumors.

A renewed round of speculation has been circulating the county with people asserting that the schools would be used to house illegal migrants from other countries around the world.

This past week, Kenosha County Eye again reached out to Kenosha Unified for comment. Chief Communications Officer Tanya Ruder told KCE that the rumors are unequivocally false and she can’t think of anything that could cause any confusion.

Similarly, the Kenosha City Administrator, John Morrissey, had similar words. Although he mentioned that he has heard the same rumors, he said they’re absolutely false.

The rumors started since the Kenosha right sizing proposals were beginning to take shape.

      1. These homosexually obsessed minded people seriously have some issues! It’s getting so old! They need to expand their life experiences to be able to have a decent conversation about things.

        1. Wow! You just can’t stop confirming what everyone knows: you are a self loathing closeted homosexual. You really need to get some help to reconcile your deep-seated and long-standing desire to lay with a man. No matter how hard you try to deny these fantasies, they will never go away.

        1. It is not his fault. He is a con man doing what con men do.

The blame is on the mayor, the city council, and really all of us. We are letting it happen. Shame on us!

    1. Morissey is another one who is double-dipping, as the City Administrator & a County Supervisor.

Rumor has it, he’s considering a run for county exec against Kerkman. RPKC better come up with someone good, because Morissey will win, and that won’t be good. Not as bad as a second Kerkman term, but not good nonetheless.

    1. I wonder if an employee took his test for him to get his degree like Steinbrink Jr got someone to do for him so he could get his Engineering degree! Steinbrink Jr is living the dream of an inmate. Has it made!

      3

    1. Kudos for attending a real college. Morrissey could have attended a real local college and earned a real degree. Instead he went to some shady, mail-order diploma mill in Florida and bought a fraudulent degree. Yet, the mayor and city council is ok with that.

      2
      2
  1. I think it would be interesting to find out why KUSD has refused to sell/rent empty buildings to our local parochial schools who are in real need of space… I thought KUSD needed money? 🤔

    8
    1
    1. Have they really tried to rent them out? If you seriously have information on this, pass it on to KCE. Maybe this is something KCE could bring to light.

    2. The money isn’t worth it to rent to the competition.
Once the public experiences just how much better the competition is, there
will be a revolt they just cannot have.
      Can’t jeopardize the gravy train.
      Scares them to death.
Milwaukee schools do the very same thing with their empty buildings for the very same reason.

  2. Easiest solution to determine truth or a lie. If you know where the closed schools are, spend some time near the building and watch for any activity that would be obvious in making the determination. The illegal immigrants are here, in Kenosha. I see them at Woodmans, not hard to pick them out.

    2
    1
    1. They’re not in the schools, but they’re definitely here. Mexican landlords only ever “rent” their places to illegals. Just look around 60th st, it’s not hard to find them.

      2
      1
      1. They are building more and more new apartment buildings and condos that are for rent/lease only! It’s crazy! We will be paying for all the illegals in these new places! I’m surprised Evers isn’t putting all of them up in hotels like other states have!

  3. Why not use the empty schools as a revenue source?
In a way KUSD is already providing educational services for migrants (illegal) via normal classes and while the kids are at school the parents/guardians/whatever could be contracted as inexpensive labor.
Time to embrace “Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)”

“Tent U.S. is a coalition of more than 200 major companies from across the country stepping up to help refugees enter the labor market through job preparation and employment.”
    https://www.tent.org/us/

    1. If converting the empty school buildings into low-income housing for migrants (illegals)—- it would be a good idea to incorporate ‘one-stop’ services for valid identification, drivers license, and voter registration so at election time everyone on in the building can say thanks to those running Kenosha/KUSD by voting 100% Democrat.

      1
      1
  4. Do not believe the lies. Kenosha has a history of corrupt politicians. We are already a sanctuary city. The illegals are already here. And mark my words, after the election, the city is going to turn the empty school buildings into “migrant housing” just like in Chicago. More and more illegals will arrive. We need to make sure we defeat Peter Barca as he openly supports sanctuary cities.

    8
    3
  5. We do not need to and should not embrace dei. We need to embrace our constitution and the rule of law. It is a crime to come into this country illegally. The current administration wants to see our country destroyed for their gain, not ours. It is also a crime to knowingly and willingly aid and abett a criminal act. So, let’s just let that sink in. If you vote for Harris, you too are aiding and abetting a criminal.

  6. Kenosha needs to stop letting Michael Bell feel relevant. His whole situation is tragic- but the reality is, his son was a shitbag who played the ultimate game of fuck around a find out.

    9
    1
      1. He was in my place of employment the day before it happened, bragging about how he was going to go out and get f’ed up and party. He regularly bragged about being drunk all the time like it was some kind of flex.

  7. Yes well there was a swarm of them in Walmart on brumback road and they were buying clothes for their kids and tents and they were whipping $100 bills out of their wallets! And they couldn’t drive worth a d*** in the parking lot, probably had no valid license!

  8. Washington School Center 1920
    811 Washington Road Kenosha, Wisconsin

Great looking building that has served Kenosha’s citizens for over a hundred years.
No doubt that building is expensive to maintain and once maintenence declines so does the building. Small leak in the roof becomes large leak and quickly renders a building unusable. Heating system fails, pipes freeze and building becomes unusable. Broken windows/doors allow vandals and scrappers to enter rendering building unsuable.
Anyway—link below to history of a structrue that was built to last and has had a long and glorious run…..

    https://wisconsinhistory.org/Records/Property/HI9693

  9. I don’t believe one word they say. Not one.
We can’t keep voting these idiots in office.
We all know what they’re planning. I was just at Aurora and it was packed with illegals getting free medical care. Coughing all over everything and one got mad because he had to wait. Another family just cut in line.

    1. After watching how the powers that be in the city handled the rioters and allowed them to burn parts of the city, I find it really really hard to believe anything they tell us. Do you really think they would let the citizens of the city know they were going to do this? Other democratic cities have shit on their own citizens and welcomed migrants with open arms and wallets, why would ours be any different?

  10. I have been driving around the school buildings in question and also around the storage facility on 52nd that used to be Kmart since I saw the plan to close so many.

There are a lot being housed in both schools and storage buildings and closed large department stores across this failing country. They bring them in at night but I haven’t noticed anything out of sorts. I haven’t driven by all of them though.
I recommend others try to do the same especially if you are retired and can fit the drive into your schedule and people BY these schools watch. I have been told by several people that some rough looking folks are living in the woods behind Woodmans but they didn’t know if they are migrants or homeless.
With this PURPOSEFUL INVASION we are screwed if Harris is elected. Kenosha was right at the helm of voter fraud and what’s been done about that?

We need our police forces to patrol the laid up buildings to ensure they aren’t broken into even if people say they aren’t being knowingly used and we need DNR or whoever is responsible for the parks to make sweeps through at night and we need better representation by our city and county governments.

It’s on a matter of time. Cartels are in Waukegan, large groups of Venezuelan gangs are in Chicago, and who knows where else. I know these are facts because it’s been seen in person by “someone”, not watched on tv.

Springfield Ohio mayor knew about the Haitians and never told the community. We have a Democrat governor and i imagine our mayor is as well. I called they said he’s non partisan. I think it’s BS they don’t declare to run for office. It annoyed the hell out of me to see the ballot where there were so many people running that had no party association.
The lady got pissy with me when I told her that and she hung up. 😂🤣😂
