A long-time Kenosha Police detective has been placed on administrative leave. KCE was tipped off and we confirmed with a KPD spokesman. Although KPD can’t comment, as it is a personnel issue, KCE is told that the investigation is work-performance related and isn’t related to any use-of-force or other similar misconduct.

KCE isn’t naming the detective, as he or she has not been disciplined. If he or she receives discipline that is severe, we will get the information and report back. The investigation could take weeks or months.

        1. Nope but it’s a dick move to mention someone by name that has nothing to do with the article. Did you just not like how tightly he put cuffs on you?

          1. Your comment about the handcuffs being too tight provides a glimpse into the state of your mental health. You are mentally ill and unfit to work in law enforcement. Not surprising.

            1. You just seem to have an amount of animosity- and it doesn’t seem warranted. What I do for a living has nothing to do with this, nor does my mental state. It’s just funny that when people, such as yourself, get called out- this is where we go. You’re a complete jacka*s and it shows

  1. Doesn’t this site routinely identify teachers, firefighters, other public employees, and even private citizens who get in hot water? This detective is on administrative leave. Why can’t we know who he or she is? Maybe I am wrong. Could someone correct me if I am.

Is KCE treating this person differently? Just asking.

    18
    2
    1. I’m not treating this person any differently. When I identify somebody, I have credible information about the alleged misconduct. In this case, I do not. Like I said, like this individual receives severe discipline, you will read about it here first.

      1. you state ” If he or she receives discipline that is severe, we will get the information and report back”. you should report back no matter what. a bad cop is a bad cop. people should know. dont hide them, thats how they stay on the force.

        1. Why even write the article? Seems like a waste of time since no name is being mentioned or what the person did. Obviously you knew people would speculate, etc. I would have just sat on this until more was available that you could report on and share with the public.

  2. How serious could it be? It can’t be like he sits at home for hours at end or participates in non-work related affairs while on the tax payer dime. No.

  3. obviously There a lot of people close to this one person that the article is referring to,
However bad cop is a bad cop. and it’s about time we clean up are dept, we have a
awesome chief and a lot of great officers, the few bad ones speak volume to the good ones.
Great job Kevin and KPD clean house.

  4. Hopefully with this Great chief that seems to be very good and on top of these things Will end a lot of this inside his dept.
and with new blood in the Da office we can get the corruption out of there also. I sure look forward to the follow up on this
story, and what he did this time to get in Trouble.

  5. Really Waiting for some updates in this Story . Please share your finding we the people of Kenosha are very interested in the outcome of this Person.
