Meadows will face current Pleasant Prairie Trustee, Dave Klimisch (D), who was in power during the serious corruption. Klimisch did nothing to address the corruption that involved a jail sentence from the outgoing President’s son, Jon Steinbrink, Jr.

During the corruption probe, Klimisch refused to talk to KCE about his silence, and his refusal to address the corruption. Klimisch has said that every other trustee, all democrats, have endorsed his candidacy.

  1. Is Meadows gonna look into all the corruption that has gone on at pleasant prairie?
Why don’t you ask Dave about all the flip houses he does in kenosha with out pulling permits

    12
    1. Please ask Gary Roberts (Kenosha Director of Inspections) personally after pulling data of Meadows purchases. A story on Gary Roberts would be welcoming also.

  2. He won’t have to look for the wrong doing. It will rear its head seconds after he is in office. He should gave run for trustee and president.

Now will the person who wanted change contact this man and work on his committees for election?

    1. A lot of people talk the talk, hopefully a few will walk the walk. PP needs a leader who won’t be a corrupt extension of the Democratic machine slowly being dismantled here in the city…

  3. All Meadows needs to promise is that he won’t be corrupt.

I know that’s cynical but considering what has happened in the past in PP just showing up and doing no harm will be enough of a shock for the taxpayers.

  4. Voting for Klimisch is reelecting Steinbrink. Please Pleasant Prairie voters let’s make this village GREAT!! No more back room deals.

    24
      1. How about we start with Steinbrink and his son? Everyone knew what was going on, why did they get a gag order on the previous village administrator???

        22
  5. I was actually considering running for Village President just so we can rid Steinbrink but now will vote for Eric. Please do not vote for Klimisch, he is just like Steinbrink. We need to rid the swamp in Pleasant Prairie and actually have someone who works for the people.

  6. I want to hear more from Eric. My fault but I didn’t realize he lived in the village as he hasn’t been involved in village activities.

  7. How can I help. I live in River Oaks. I Klimish. He as well as all the rest of the council needs to be replaced.

  8. Voters of Pleasant Prairie let’s give Eric a chance we need fresh ideas, if you want MORE apartment buildings and less homes then vote for Steinbrink stooge Klimisch .

  9. If Klimisch wants my vote he first must sign that Pleasant Prairie will have an independent financial audit done immediately before election!

  10. Eric has my vote. Current Administration is corrupt and needs to go, starting with old man Steinbrink and the rest of his little clique

  11. I like Eric but I think there may be a conflict of interest here. Eric is on the county board which could be a good thing. Or not. There was a study showing that village taxpayers send more money to the county than what we get back in services. Where does Eric side on tax equity issues? Would his loyalties be divided? Which side would be on? I’d rather he choose one or the other.

  12. Just a clarification. The article states that every trustee is a Democrat. This is factually incorrect.
Although I don’t live in Pleasant Prairie anymore, I wish Jim Kremer would have thrown his hat into the ring for Village President. Very solid, ethical guy, and spends a lot of time looking out for the taxpayers of that community.

      1. Hi Kevin! Could you find some I formation on Matt Henby? I just saw he is running fro.Trustee #3 unopposed. I looked online but really don’t find anything.

      1. Please note that I simply said that not every member of the PP Village Board is a Democrat.
I’ll leave it to the good folks who comment on these pages to determine whether Pleasant Prairie is a well-run, desirable community in which to live. As context, I live in the City of Kenosha. My house assessment was apparently done by someone who’d taken some sort of hallucinogen, and my property tax for 2025 went up over 15%. How does that compare with Pleasant Prairie?
Oh, as an aside…the most incendiary thing that I can say is that the entire John Steinbrink, Jr. adjudication of his case was vomit-worthy.
        God bless…

        1. Yuhas resigned from the PP village board when she took a job with the village as a clerical support person and before running for the county board.

  13. Kevin. We need to keep spreading the word on Eric running for President. Klimisch has a strong cult following, of people who think he is wonderful. We need to let the people of Pleasant Prairie know how corrupt Klimisch is. Eric needs to really ramp up his social media posts and we all need to spread the word to vote for him. Everyone please share Eric’s page on your social media. Let’s get the crooks out of our Village!
