Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Alex Huber In Court Today

“I do believe it’s appropriate [to order a $100,000 bail.] The defendant is facing a number of charges of possession of child pornography. These all carry with them mandatory minimum prison sentences, which gives a higher likelihood to flee. The defendant is already on bond at this time for a violent offense, a [third]-degree sexual assault use of force. And now his phone is uncovering evidence of both possession of child pornography. I’m being told it is containing video evidence of the actions leading up to the violent sexual assault on Carthage’s campus as well as an additional investigation that could lead to further charges,” said Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Alex Huber. “

[There are] numerous videos on the defendant’s phone of what appears to be him interacting with unconscious women, potentially sexually molesting them. All of these things, I think, presuppose a major danger to the community and I think call for a high cash bond and serious non-monetary conditions,” Huber added.

“The court is very concerned with the community safety. It’s alleged there’s video of him with unconscious women. Very concerning. The nature of this event, the possession of child pornography. It’s alleged that it’s on his phone. The court does believe that public safety and the nature of these offenses, the court is going to impose a $100,000 cash bond,” said Kenosha County Court Commissioner William Michel II in court today.

Wilson is due back in court on January 31, 2025.
