KENOSHA, Wis. — Local residents seeking career opportunities or community resources will have a chance to connect with dozens of area employers and nonprofits during the 3rd Annual Success Fair, set for Friday, June 13, at the Kenosha County Job Center.
The free event, organized by Equus Workforce Solutions, the Southeastern Wisconsin Workforce Development Board, and United Way of Kenosha County, runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with employer check-in beginning at noon. It aims to link job seekers with employers in industries including healthcare, construction, hospitality, IT, manufacturing, human services, and transportation.
Organizers hope to build on the momentum from last year’s fair, which drew approximately 200 attendees, along with 22 employers and 31 nonprofit organizations. The 2025 event will again feature career networking as well as essential services like food assistance, childcare help, veteran support, healthcare enrollment, and public benefits guidance.
“Kenosha County has some very exciting opportunities coming to the area as well as world-class employment options already existing in our backyard,” said Bobby Nash of Equus Workforce Solutions. “Our goal here at the Kenosha County Job Center is to create and match quality talent with local employers to build a stronger, thriving community.”
Vendors are encouraged to sign up by May 30. Employer booths cost $95 and include two boxed lunches, beverages, a table, and chairs. Booth space is limited. Registration is available online at www.kenoshaunitedway.org/employer-successfair.
Carolynn Friesch, CEO of United Way of Kenosha County, said the Success Fair is about more than just jobs—it’s about stability and opportunity.
“At United Way of Kenosha County, we’re committed to empowering individuals and families on their path to financial stability,” Friesch said. “The Success Fair is a valuable opportunity for both job seekers and employers to connect and strengthen our local workforce.”
