KENOSHA, Wis. – Simmons Library will be closed to the public from September 8 through 13 for dome maintenance, according to a release from the Kenosha Public Library system.
The historic library, located at 711 59th Place, is scheduled to reopen on Monday, September 15. While the building is closed, the exterior book drop will remain available for returns.
All other Kenosha Public Library branches will remain open with regular hours. The nearest alternative is the Uptown Library (2419 63rd St.), which shares architectural charm similar to Simmons. Additional locations include Southwest Library, Northside Library, and KPL Kids @ Uptown Lofts, each offering full services during the maintenance period.
KPL encourages patrons to visit these branches or explore digital resources at mykpl.info .

Oh no! Will we still get free internet usage outside and what about bathrooms?
Waste of money, I’m tired of paying for libraries. Just another indoctrination center for the Libs to crawl and shit all over.
