  1. Hey Sergeant Colin Coultrip –how about instead of “our thoughts go out to those impacted by the crash” that you exhibit a modicum of sympathy and at least pretend to care–how about “our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim and his family”??

  2. One detail that I have not heard is the estimated speed of the 2004 Honda.
In another report of this tragic crash, it was noted that “the entire top of the Honda sedan had been torn off”, leading me to think speed may have been a contributing factor.

    1. At that time of the morning on an old country Road guys going to work are going to be going 60-70 miles an hour down a road like that. But even if he was doing the speed limit which could’ve been 45 or 55 The cow was gonna win and the car was gonna lose. What difference did it make if the cow went over the top and took the top of the car with it or just landed in the windshield and crushed the guy right in his front seat. Dead is dead.
      So was speed factor ?
Only to the mortician who’s got to fix him up

        1. The untimely death, especially of someone so young, just happens sometimes.
There is no rhyme nor reason.

          Wrong place, wrong time

But no matter what the speed, that’s a lawsuit and payday from the farmer to Mr. Foreros’ family.

          1. Not sure if the laws have changed but in Wisconsin, the law states the cows have the right of way. Even in the middle of the road.
