The Kenosha News reported about a homicide that occurred on Sunday September 27, 2020 in the early morning hours. The rag was quick to name Red Zone in the article. The Kenosha News has a long history of targeting Red Zone, a local tavern that caters to predominantly African-Americans and other minoriteis. Manager Duvall Coates says that the most of the facts within the Kenosha News article are simply “NOT true” according to a press release shared earlier today. According to Coates he called 9-1-1 to alert KPD of a skirmish in side the bar. Security removed those involved and escorted them off of the property. The security remained off property until the police arrived. Security footage shows Red Zone security alerting police to an area, which they say was ignored. No police officers approached security to get the information.
KPD also alleged to be fibbing
In the statement, Coates says that the information was apparently issued by the Kenosha Police Department and disseminated by the Kenosha News and was irresponsible. He said there was NO fight in the parking lot and there were NOT 30-40 people arguing outside the bar as the Kenosha News had reported. Coates says Red Zone fully cooperated with police and volunteered the footage immediately. Deneen Smith, Kenosha News writer is not a stranger to #fakenews. Her far left ideologies are very obvious in her poor writing. Kenosha News just lost their #fakenews editor. Wonder if Kenosha News might report the truth under new leadership? We won’t hold our breaths.
