A man was walking his dog just north of the Carthage College Tennis courts just before 5:00 pm on Monday, May 22, 2023 when he found a deceased man laying on the ground. There was a revolver handgun about eight feet away from him. Police arrived within minutes and determined the man was in fact, dead. The Kenosha County Medical Examiner was called to the scene. The man was identified as an employee of Carthage College.
A Kenosha spokesman confirmed that there is no crime that is suspected. Carthage College President John Swallow was contacted by KCE and we asked if he wished to express condolences or make any statements. He declined.
According to an obituary for the 60-year-old man, he worked at Carthage for 20 years and he was beloved by his colleagues and staff, as well as students.

Maybe Swallow should be called shallow!
Three shots to the chest I don’t believe what school and police are saying!!! Why did police have officer stationed there for 3 days and nights?
What are you blabbering about? 3 shots to chest?
Where did you read 3 shots to the chest?
Swallow is a spineless woke weasel. Make Carthage a worthwhile institution again by getting rid of that half-baked intellectual
How on Earth does a revolver end up eight feet away from the deceased unless someone else did the shooting?
