Kenosha, Wis. — A 23-year-old Kenosha woman is facing felony charges after allegedly assaulting her sister during a domestic dispute, less than two years after a similar case against her was dropped by the previous district attorney’s office.
Katie M. Imbrogno has been charged in Kenosha County Circuit Court with one count of Substantial Battery – Domestic Abuse, a Class I felony, and one count of Disorderly Conduct – Domestic Abuse, a Class B misdemeanor. If convicted of both charges, she faces up to three years and nine months in prison and $11,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint, Kenosha police responded to Aurora Medical Center on April 16 after a woman reported being attacked by her sister at their shared residence on 35th Avenue. The altercation allegedly began with a verbal argument and escalated when Imbrogno grabbed the woman’s head, ripped two earrings from her ear, and pulled out hair during a struggle on the ground.
Their mother reportedly intervened to separate the two, at which point Imbrogno allegedly declared, “I guess I won that fight.” The injured woman later received treatment at the emergency room for a torn ear requiring medical glue and follow-up care. Officers documented visible injuries.
Imbrogno told officers that she panicked during the altercation and admitted to pulling her sister’s hair and ear, causing it to bleed. Police noted red marks on Imbrogno’s neck, which she attributed to being pushed and choked, but the mother told police she never saw the injured woman strangle or assault Imbrogno.
This is not the first time Imbrogno has faced legal trouble related to domestic violence. In March 2023, she was charged in Pleasant Prairie with battery and disorderly conduct in connection with an early morning disturbance involving her then-boyfriend. A neighbor had called police after hearing someone screaming, and when officers attempted to speak with Imbrogno, she reportedly drove away despite being told to stop. According to police, she was upset about infidelity and refused to remain at the scene.
That case was ultimately dismissed by the prior district attorney’s administration, and Imbrogno pled guilty to a non-criminal ordinance violation instead.
Her current charges are being prosecuted under Kenosha County District Attorney Xavier Solis. Imbrogno made her initial court appearance last week. As of Monday, she was not listed as in custody at the Kenosha County Jail.

sounds like a real winner
Anger management classes seem in order while serving a real stint in a pokey. Restitution for physical and emotional damage too. Another Gravely injustice on his watch. Possibly would have never happened this time if she endured any punishment the last time.
Super glued the ear back together?
Yes..sometimes skin glue is used instead of stitches

YEPERDOODLES!
OOH,
we got a feisty one here.
Boy! If the cops were called whenever me & my brothers fought we’d probably still be in prison. Siblings fight, no need for Johnny Law. Her ear will heal and maybe she’d benefit from some Krav Maga classes. Now she’ll go through life never able to say she beat her sister’s butt.
If that’s a nose ring, I would have yanked that thing from her nose!!! I still don’t understand the purpose of that!!! Do they think they are bulls??
Really !?!
What is the attraction to a nose ring ??
Both for the person who has one and the person who sees it ?
I understand that people, both male and female make decisions to ornate their bodies with tattoos, piercings and makeup. Some of it is personal preference and satisfaction but it also is to send a message to others, look at me !!
Do you want to know me ?!?!
Do you find me attractive ?!?!
To each his own, but …..
Nose rinds are definitely questionable !!
Sister should have grabbed that hog ring.
Then they could glue her nose back on
The destructive nature of an emotionally immature young woman. Choices have consequences.
