A 25-year-old Kenosha man was found dead in his downtown Kenosha jail cell early on New Year’s Day. According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, he was found unresponsive in the early morning hours and life-saving attempts were unsuccessful.
The 25-year-old man was identified by a family member as Reighnn Post-McNab. Post-McNab was currently incarcerated due to a probation/parole violation. He had been in the Kenosha County pre-trial jail since June 22nd, 2021.
We spoke with Post-McNab’s sister Annie, who told us that her family is confused because he was a healthy 25-year-old man with no medical issues. She told us that she received information that he was heard arguing with a corrections officer just moments before he was discovered unresponsive.
Post-McNab grew up with his sister, Annie and four brothers, being raised by his Grandmother who they called “Mom.” She described him as “energetic, always smiling and laughing. He loved music, played the violin, loved to dance, sign, rap and DJ.”
Annie says her family is eagerly waiting to hear the results of the death investigation that is being performed by the Racine County Sheriff and the autopsy results.
“We are asking for prayers through this tough time. My brother should be alive right now. Instead we are looking into costs of funerals.” said Annie.

Isn’t a kenosha county “supervisor “ a correctional officer ? Where’s his outrage?
Supervisor Andy Berg is a correctional officer. But not for Kenosha County. He works for the State at that small facility in the former Frost District. County policy doesn’t allow Supervisors to hold additional county positions.
Yes, he is. No comment.
