I hope there’s video from Perrine’s.
biking on Sheridan rd at mid night is not a good idea.Hope the biker recovers .I am a avid biker and will not go out after dark. Would not even with lights
11:36PM? That is just reckless and the guy paid the consequence.
Should it have happened? No.
Should people use common sense? Yes.
You’re right hit and run is reckless. You were referring to the motorist and not the victim, right?
Unfortunately, I see many cyclists all geared up with no regard for safety. Fancy clothing, flashing lights, helmet and whatever. What good is it all if you blow through stop signs and don’t obey traffic laws?
Bicyclists believe they are exempt from normal rules of the road. Find one that stops at a stop sign.
In Kenosha bicyclists get the entire lane, so let’s talk about cars that don’t follow the laws if we are going to talk about cyclists not following the laws. Also, maybe he doesn’t have a car and needs to ride a bike to and from work. What’s wrong with people? Always blaming the victim. Sheesshhhh
If you don’t have a car, at least don’t ride Sheridan Road in the dark!
Blaming the victim…truly scary. It is a motorist’s duty to avoid collisions with bicycles, no matter what road they are on or when, so long as they are legally entitled to be on that road. If the road is unsafe, then there need to be more police patrolling it.
brown bottle flu and driving, a kenosha screw driver
This is unfortunate. Biking at night is not recommended. Bike Lanes don’t work. Riding on sidewalks is even more dangerous at intersections. This city sucks for traffic all around. Drivers drive too fast, texting and driving, inattentive driving.
