
KENOSHA, Wis. – The City of Kenosha and Happenings Magazine will once again host the popular Peanut Butter & Jam concert series starting July 10, marking the 23rd season of the beloved outdoor music event downtown.
Opening the series is Pearlsnap, a group known for blending country, rock, and pop hits spanning the ‘80s to today. The free concerts are held every Thursday, with full bands performing at 6 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Park through August 28.
Daytime music lovers can also enjoy solo, duo, and trio acts each Thursday at 11:30 a.m., though the lunchtime lineup has yet to be announced. Updates will be posted on hap2it.com.
Sixth Avenue will be closed from 52nd to 54th Street during the evening concerts for pedestrian safety. Attendees are reminded to avoid sitting near the streetcar tracks and to use designated crosswalks, remaining alert to traffic and buses in the area.

- August 7: Libido Funk Circus – Chicago’s premier party band
- August 14: 7th Heaven – High-energy rock and pop show
- August 21: Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials – Award-winning blues veterans
- August 28: Focal Point – Classic rock hits from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s
