RANDALL, Wis. – A Mount Pleasant man was formally charged in Kenosha County Circuit Court on Monday in connection with a disturbing 2023 incident involving a child. He had been extradited from state prison to face the charges, which were first filed in October of last year.

(Kenosha County Sheriff)
Seth A. Geyer, 39, is charged with exposing himself to a minor and using threats to silence the child, both as a repeat offender. Court Commissioner William Michel II ordered $20,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
According to the criminal complaint, Geyer allegedly exposed himself to an 11-year-old boy in a detached garage in the Town of Randall sometime between January and May of 2023. The child said Geyer warned him not to tell anyone or his family would be harmed.
The child disclosed the incident during a later interview at the Kenosha County Child Advocacy Center, describing how he had been watching television when Geyer came up behind him. The boy said he immediately fled and didn’t tell anyone for months out of fear.
Deputies confirmed that Geyer had been spending time with the boy’s father, who lived at the home and was later jailed in June 2023. The detached garage was described by witnesses as a converted lounge space where adults would gather.
In a prison interview conducted by a Kenosha County detective in September 2024, Geyer admitted he had visited the property multiple times, describing the garage as a common hangout where adults used meth and alcohol. He denied the allegations but also told investigators that the child had “no reason to lie.”
Because of a prior felony conviction for possession with intent to deliver THC in Racine County, Geyer faces sentencing enhancers. If convicted on both counts, he could be sentenced to up to 21 years and 6 months:
- Exposing a child to nudity (Class I felony): 3 years and 6 months, plus 4 years as a repeater
- Threatening or intimidating a victim (Class G felony): 10 years, plus 4 years as a repeater
Geyer remains in custody at the Kenosha County Jail.
