  1. Will the nepotism in Kenosha County ever end? It’s just crazy how many government employees are related to each other. Whether it’s the county, a municipality, or a school district, or elected officials, the situation is always the same. Government jobs as the “family business” just has to end.

  2. Their kids were all athletes in school. Do they have a child on the basketball team? The two older boys played football for ITA. The Nixons have been involved in ITA athletics since 2011. Sad 🙁

      1. Uhh dont put the two together. The nfl nixon is MY son, not hers (her stepson) and she wasnt working at the school when he attended or any of my three boys. All of Mr. Nixons children are my biological children and none of them have anything to do with her stupidity.

        1. Chawanda, your own son don’t even talk to or associate w you. You want to tell the people why Daviyon hasn’t spoke to you in Months? Because you was begging for money and when he hit a rough patch you left him.. let’s start there.

I know what really going on.

        2. You may be his biological mom, but I know Daviyon don’t fw you. He don’t even talk to you. He don’t even spend time w you. But you right let’s keep him out of this. I just think the people should know who YOU really are CHAWANDA. You kept the Nixon last name after being divorced for 15 years. You got issues.

  7. Our school district is disappointing. It is essential that we elect the right individuals. Thank you for your dedicated efforts, MR. KM. Without your work, many of us would not be aware of the disastrous behavior of those responsible for the education and well-being of our children.

  9. Nothing is more enjoyable than watching a knockdown, drag-out fight between two black women who have no problem with showing their ignorance. This is just another example of the moral failure of our school system. KUSD is wringing its hands and moaning about the failed referendum. If we want to survive as a nation, we must show our children that it is unacceptable to fudge school records. It is very basic. It’s a new day in America.

      1. I have to confess that I had to Google who Mojo Nixon was….🤷‍♂️….apparently, he died a year ago. Sorry to be the bearer of sad news.

  11. She is not even the attendance employee at the school. Website lists a Ms Carmickle. Teachers record class period attendance and security staff like her husband record study hall attendance. Questions would be, why was she even in the system? Filling in for attendance clerk?Attendance records are legal documentation. Security to be in the system (Infinite campus) varies by job classification.

    1. Every time I call attendance or main office, I get a different person each time. And each of them have taken care of my kid’s attendance. So clearly they all have access. Question is why did she modify/change attendance after the fact?

      1. The attendance line rings and if no one is there to pick up, or is busy on the phone it goes to the secretary. There’s 5 secretaries there that all answer and help each other out but not everyone has access to change attendance records.

  12. Ms. Danielle Nixon is one of the most down to earth person you’d ever have the chance to meet. This attendance issue is not what this article is making it out to be.

    5
    4
    1. Do tell.

…..and please don’t leave out the part about who all put her up to it…..

  13. It’s attendance. Rather she did it or not it’s for attendance in 2 occasions. 2 separate kids, one was already cleared up that she did no wrong doing and the second one was under investigation when she resigned. You guys are acting like she did something that hasn’t been done before?

    3
    2
    1. First she did nothing, but then it’s, “she’s not the only one”. You’re arguing with yourself, and losing the argument.

  14. I like how nobody points out how they were quick to try and throw ms Nixon under the bus but let that art teacher come back to school after admitting to talking to kids. It’s so much more bs that goes on at Indian Trail, they just had to make an example out of her.

    4
    2
    1. I usually agree with you Winter but not on this one. I would argue let’s somehow get Dr. Weiss out of power. He’s the absolute worst! Yes, there are rotten apples that are yet to fall from the ITA staff tree but that doesn’t justify shutting down the whole H.S.. Better leadership is needed across all of KUSD!

  15. No bc let’s be honest both Mr. And Mrs. Nixon and those ghetto “security guards” all need to be fired! Those ghetto “security guards” smoke vapes and weed pens with students who do so as well.
