A Pleasant Prairie man will be spending more than two decades in prison following his sentencing for very serious child rapes convictions. Andre Poventud, 58, pleaded guilty in February of Repeated Sexual Assault of Same Child (At Least 3 Violations of 1st Degree Sexual Assault) and Possession of Child Pornography. He was initially charged with four felony sex offences on July 21, 2023, but the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, through further investigations, discovered other abhorrent acts. Five more charges were later added including adultery, which is rarely charged in Wisconsin.
Poventud was convicted of sexually abusing a girl for seven years, starting when she was just 11 years old. He groomed her from the young age. When police started to investigate, Poventud told his victim to “not say a word.”
Poventud also had naked photos of the minor girl. He also asked the child to ask her friends if they wanted to participate in threesomes.
In a sentencing hearing earlier this week, Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Rosa Delgado argued that a long prison sentence was necessary to keep the public safe.

A pedo loving lib gave you a thumbs down.
Death penalty effective immediately after conviction. Hanging.
More sentences like this, please, for the love of our children.
The man on the photo doesn’t look 28. Perhaps 82?
He’s 58
They have a real problem down in Kenosha. Seems like some of these cases are fake. Nobody is attracted to an 11 year old. Its more like fake news because its an election year.
It’s real
